Overview

As a Consultant in EY's Indirect Tax practice, you help multinational clients manage VAT obligations while navigating digital tax developments. You will split your focus between traditional VAT compliance and e-invoicing projects, building expertise in both areas. You collaborate with tax and technology professionals across EY's global network to translate regulatory requirements into practical system changes. This role offers growth at the intersection of indirect tax, technology, and financial services in a flexible, hybrid setup.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Support the preparation and review of VAT compliance obligations for financial services multinational clients
• Manage VAT automation projects for multinational clients
• Assist clients with e-invoicing, e-reporting and digital tax transformation initiatives
• Translate regulatory e-invoicing requirements into operational and system requirements
• Collaborate with tax and technology professionals across EY's global network
• Contribute to business development activities, proposals and client presentations

Belangrijkste vereisten

• Approximately 1-3 years of experience in indirect tax, VAT compliance, tax technology or related advisory environment

• Strong interest in indirect tax, technology and digital transformation

• Knowledge of or affinity with e-invoicing, e-reporting and ERP-driven processes

• Eager to learn and develop both technical indirect tax and project management skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail

• Ability to work effectively in international and multidisciplinary teams

• Proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of tasks and client deliverables

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Dutch is an advantage
