Overview

As Business Controller at Bugaboo Group, you own end-to-end commercial control, supporting profitable growth across regional and digital channels. You partner with senior stakeholders to safeguard brand positioning and long-term financial health while delivering FP&A ownership and actionable insights. You'll model new commercial initiatives, coordinate budgets and forecasts, and drive clear reporting and KPI dashboards with the analytics team. This role combines finance mastery with business partner influence in a fast-growing, international environment.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Own end-to-end commercial control for regional and Digital channels, focusing on revenue, margin and cost discipline
• Model and monitor price, volume, mix, promotions and markdown effectiveness
• Serve as sparring partner to drive profitable growth and coordinate strategic plans, budgets, and monthly forecasts
• Collaborate with regional teams and product management on business initiatives and launches with clear assumptions and risks/opportunities
• Design finance reporting and KPI dashboards with Data Performance & Analytics, plus PowerBI-driven insights
• Support SIOP process validation and forecast reasonability checks
• Close sales and margin reporting and provide finance support to regional directors and controlling team
• Work cross-functionally to drive dashboards and insights for decision making
• Liaise with Data and Analytics to ensure data integrity and actionable insights

Belangrijkste vereisten

• Master's degree in finance, controlling or related discipline

• 5-7 years of experience in a similar role

• Knowledge of management control, planning and control cycles, business cases and modelling

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, with adaptable communication style

• Hands-on, proactive, value-adding mindset

• Strong Excel skills and experience with advanced reporting tools and data integrity

• Analytical mindset with eagerness to learn and grow

• Proficiency in English and Dutch

• Retail experience and international exposure are a plus
