As a professional within the Tax Reporting & Strategy team, you support (inter)national clients in being in control of (statutory & tax) compliance. You do this, among other things, by setting up internal processes and new technological applications/possibilities at the customer. Description Geef jouw fiscale carrière een kickstart en ontdek de wereld van Tax bij PwC. Ben jij student Fiscaal Recht of Fiscale Economie en wil je nog ontdekken welke richting binnen Tax het beste bij je past? Dan is het Tax Take Off Program iets voor jou.

Op 1 februari start het Tax Take Off Program. In zes maanden ontdek je meerdere fiscale disciplines door mee te draaien in verschillende teams binnen Tax. Je wisselt in die periode twee of drie keer van team: jij bepaalt hoeveel rotaties je doet en welke teams je wilt zien. Zo bouw je in korte tijd brede ervaring op en navigeer je stap voor stap naar de richting die het beste bij jou past.

Dit ga je doen

Op 1 februari trappen we af met een kick-off waarin je werkt aan een real-life klantcasus én de klant bezoekt. Tijdens het programma sta je er niet alleen voor: je krijgt begeleiding van je buddy en leert de mede werkstudenten kennen.

Als werkstudent binnen dit programma kijk je zes maanden lang, drie dagen per week, mee met verschillende teams binnen onze Tax afdeling. In deze periode krijg je een goed beeld van fiscaliteit in de praktijk en werk je samen met ons aan uitdagende klantvraagstukken. Elke twee of drie maanden wissel je van team en sluit je de roulatie af met een wisseldag gericht op jouw persoonlijke ontwikkeling, afgesloten met een borrel.

Vanuit alle Tax Business Units doen verschillende teams mee. Deze teams vallen onder de business units Workforce , Tax, Reporting and Strategy , Corporate Tax en Indirect Tax . Het Tax Take Off Program is beschikbaar in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven en Groningen.

Naast dat je veel leert over Tax en relevante werkervaring opdoet, ontvang je ook begeleiding vanuit je buddy en het team.

Over de vacature

De stage vindt plaats bij de gemeente Vught binnen het team Vergunningen en Veiligheid. Binnen dit team komen verschillende werkzaamheden en processen samen op het gebied van Veiligheid, Vergunningen, Toezicht en Handhaving (VVTH).

Als stagiair werk je nauw samen met de medewerkers van het team. Je voert gesprekken met collega’s, brengt bestaande werkwijzen in kaart en vertaalt deze naar een praktisch en overzichtelijk proceshandboek. Je krijgt daarbij begeleiding van een vaste stagebegeleider.

Aanleiding

Binnen Vergunningen en Veiligheid worden verschillende werkzaamheden uitgevoerd, waarvoor uiteenlopende werkafspraken en processen gelden. Deze afspraken zijn op dit moment niet altijd op één plek vastgelegd. Een deel staat in e-mails of losse notities en een deel van de kennis zit vooral in de hoofden van medewerkers.

Dat maakt het soms lastig om snel de juiste informatie te vinden. Ook voor nieuwe medewerkers is het belangrijk om duidelijk inzicht te hebben in de manier waarop werkzaamheden binnen het team worden uitgevoerd.

Daarom wil de gemeente Vught komen tot een proceshandboek VVTH. Hierin worden de belangrijkste werkprocessen en werkafspraken overzichtelijk en praktisch vastgelegd. Er is een voorbeeld van een vergelijkbaar handboek beschikbaar dat als inspiratie kan dienen, maar dit moet worden vertaald naar de situatie en werkwijze van Vught.

Doel van de stage

Het ontwikkelen van een praktisch en bruikbaar proceshandboek VVTH waarin de relevante werkprocessen en werkafspraken van het team Vergunningen en Veiligheid overzichtelijk zijn vastgelegd.

Daarnaast ontwikkel je een voorstel voor het beheren, actualiseren en aanvullen van het handboek, zodat het ook na afloop van je stage actueel en bruikbaar blijft.

Dit ga je doen

Als stagiair:

• Inventariseer je de belangrijkste werkprocessen en werkafspraken binnen Vergunningen en Veiligheid.
• Voer je gesprekken met medewerkers om bestaande werkwijzen, kennis en afspraken in kaart te brengen.
• Breng je in kaart waar processen en werkafspraken momenteel zijn vastgelegd en waar informatie ontbreekt.
• Werk je processen uit tot duidelijke en overzichtelijke procesbeschrijvingen.
• Stem je de beschreven processen af met betrokken medewerkers en verwerk je hun feedback.
• Gebruik je een bestaand voorbeeld van een proceshandboek als inspiratie en vertaal je dit naar de situatie van Vught.
• Bouw en vul je het proceshandboek VVTH grotendeels zelfstandig.
• Denk je mee over de gebruiksvriendelijkheid en vindbaarheid van de informatie.
• Ontwikkel je een werkwijze voor het beheren, actualiseren en aanvullen van het handboek na afloop van je stage.
• Presenteer je het eindresultaat aan het team.

Afhankelijk van je voortgang en interesses is er ruimte om processen verder te verdiepen of verbetermogelijkheden te signaleren en hiervoor voorstellen te doen.

Dit ben jij

• Je volgt een hbo-opleiding. Verschillende opleidingen kunnen passend zijn, bijvoorbeeld Bestuurskunde, Integrale Veiligheidskunde, Rechten, Bedrijfskunde of een vergelijkbare opleiding.
• Je zit in het derde of vierde leerjaar.
• Je vindt het leuk om informatie uit verschillende bronnen bij elkaar te brengen en structuur aan te brengen.
• Je kunt zelfstandig onderzoek en interviews uitvoeren.
• Je bent nieuwsgierig en stelt gemakkelijk vragen.

Wil je ervaren hoe het is om als accountant te werken binnen de wereld van banken, verzekeraars en andere financiële instellingen? Zoek je een stage waarin je vanaf dag één meedraait op echte klantopdrachten en leert van professionals in Financial Services?

Tijdens de meeloopstage bij Financial Services maak je deel uit van ons gespecialiseerde Assurance team. Je werkt mee aan controles bij toonaangevende financiële instellingen en krijgt een goed beeld van de dynamiek, regelgeving en complexiteit die deze sector uniek maken. Je leert hoe jaarrekeningcontroles binnen Financial Services worden uitgevoerd, hoe data en Excel in de praktijk worden ingezet en hoe je samenwerkt in multidisciplinaire teams. Je werkt hybride: bij de klant, op kantoor en vanuit huis.

Dit ga je doen:

Samen met je begeleider draai je mee op klantopdrachten en werk je met het Financial Services audit team op kantoor en bij de klant. Je leert de basis van (financial) auditwerk, bouwt aan je professionele skills en leert andere stagiairs kennen tijdens teamuitjes, borrels en social events. Je krijgt verantwoordelijkheid die past bij je niveau en je staat nooit alleen. Verder houd je je bezig met:

Vanuit alle Tax Business Units doen verschillende teams mee. Deze teams vallen onder de business units Workforce , Tax, Reporting and Strategy , Corporate Tax en Indirect Tax . Het Tax Take Off Program is beschikbaar in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven en Groningen.

Naast dat je veel leert over Tax en relevante werkervaring opdoet, ontvang je ook begeleiding vanuit je buddy en het team.

Hier herken jij jezelf in

Je bent leergierig en ambitieus en je wil tijdens het Tax Take Off Program laten zien wat je in huis hebt. Je bent analytisch en hebt een natuurlijke nieuwsgierigheid; je bijt je vast in complexe vraagstukken en stelt de juiste vragen om tot de kern te komen. Daarnaast:

• Je zit in je master studie Fiscaal Recht of Fiscale Economie;
• Je hebt een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal;
• Je herkent je in de waarden van PwC: act with integrity, make a difference, care, reimagine the possible en work together.
• Je bent vanaf februari zes maanden, drie dagen per week beschikbaar.
