Bedrijfsomschrijving Je gaat aan de slag bij A.S. Watson, bekend van merken als Kruidvat en Trekpleister. Het distributiecentrum in Ede is het kloppend hart van de bevoorrading van de online bestellingen in Nederland, België en Frankrijk.

Het magazijn is goed bereikbaar vanuit Arnhem, Veenendaal en Wageningen, zowel met de auto als met het openbaar vervoer. Kom je met de auto? Dan kun je rekenen op gratis parkeergelegenheid direct op het terrein. De locatie ligt bovendien pal naast de A30, wat zorgt voor een snelle en makkelijke reistijd. Reis je met het openbaar vervoer? Ook dat is geen probleem: het magazijn ligt op korte afstand van bushaltes en het station Ede-Wageningen, waardoor je er zonder moeite kunt komen.

Functieomschrijving
Ben jij iemand die ervan houdt om in een ploegendienst te werken en van afwisseling houdt? Voor ons magazijn in Ede zijn wij op zoek naar een parttime orderpicker voor de ochtend- en de avonddienst. Deze wissel je per week af. In deze rol zorg jij ervoor dat alle bestellingen correct, compleet en op tijd klaarstaan voor verzending. Als orderpicker start je met het verzamelen van orders in het magazijn. Met behulp van een scanner en headset verzamel je de juiste producten en let je nauwkeurig op aantallen en artikelen.

Zijn alle producten compleet? Dan zorg jij voor een zorgvuldige en veilige verpakking. Je kiest het juiste verpakkingsmateriaal, voorziet de bestelling van de correcte labels en controleert alles nog een laatste keer voordat het wordt verzonden.

Je werkt in 2 ploegendiensten:

Een ochtenddienst van 07:00 – 16:00 en een avonddienst van 16:00 – 24:00, deze diensten zijn wekelijks wisselend. Je werkt dus de ene week in de vroege dienst en de week daarna in de late dienst.

Daarnaast ben je bereid om één keer per maand op zaterdag te werken van 08:00 – 16:00 uur

Functie-eisen

• Je bent minimaal 2 werkdagen per week beschikbaar

Who you are
To keep the Wasco warehouse running smoothly, it is important that you meet the following requirements as a warehouse worker:

• You speak English, for safety reasons;
• You are at least 18 years old, due to driving an EPT;
• You are at least available to work on Mondays and Fridays (more days are possible);
• You are available to work in different shifts. The working hours are from 09:00 to 18:00, 12:00 to 21:00 and 15:00 to 00.00;
• You have your own transport to get to Deventer;
• You are physically capable of lifting product weighing at least 20 kilos;
• You agree that we can not offer a guarantee of hours.

What will you do
As a warehouse worker at Wasco in Deventer, no two days are the same. You can work in various departments, depending on what suits you best. For example, you might work in the receiving department. This is where you greet drivers, check deliveries, and handle the administrative paperwork. In the modern “autostore,” you’ll work with smart systems and pick small parts like screws and connectors. Prefer a more hands-on role? Then the order picker position is a good fit for you. You’ll pick larger products like bathtubs and radiators. As a warehouse worker, you’ll work Monday through Friday. If you’d prefer to work fewer days, that’s also possible. You’ll work from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 3:00 PM to midnight. 🥳
