As a mail sorter, you must meet the following requirements:

• you have your own transportation and live within a radius of 30 kilometers from Zwolle
• you are available 3 to 4 nights a week from 00:30 to 06:00
• you are available from Friday night to Saturday morning

As a mail sorter, you make sure the mail gets to the right place on time! Every day millions of pieces of mail are sorted in the warehouse. The work is simple, but you have to do it quickly and precisely. You can start quickly and get 2 days of paid training first. Together with your colleagues you work at the sorting machine. There you fill the bins with mail and empty them again. Together with your colleagues you make sure that all mail and cards are neatly sorted. Working hours are between 12:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., depending on the department where you will be working.

As a mail sorter, you must meet the following requirements:

As a mail sorter, you will prepare the mail for the mail carriers. You will sort the letters by postal code and house number so that the mail is arranged in a logical order. You will work from 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and can choose from the following work options. Please note: you will work the option you choose every week as standard:

Option 1: Work five days (Tue through Sat)
Option 2: Work three days, only possible on Tue+Wed+Thu
Option 3: Work two days, only possible on Fri+Sat

Please note: You need a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) to work at PostNL. You must be able to apply for this. Costs will be reimbursed by Randstad. You will also:

Als logistiek medewerker vind jij het niet erg om de handen uit de mouwen te steken. Daarnaast ben je:

Jij gaat aan de slag binnen het distributieproces. Alle pakketten die binnenkomen bij PostNL Leeuwarden moeten gesorteerd worden. Dit doe jij als logistiek medewerker samen met je collega’s. Maar hoe doe je dit? Met je handen! Alle pakketten moeten eerst op de lopende band geplaatst worden. Deze lopende band scant vervolgens de pakketten en sorteert ze. Aan het eind van de lopende band staan de chauffeurs klaar om de pakketten in hun busjes te laden en zo de pakketten op tijd bij de klant te bezorgen.

• Werken op maandag tot en met zaterdag
• Werken tussen 05:00 uur en 12:00 uur (eindtijd kan variëren tussen 10.30/12.00)

Het magazijn van PostNL is gelegen aan de Brailleweg 3 op industrieterrein De Zwette en goed te bereiken met eigen vervoer. Dagelijks is hier een grote groep logistiek medewerkers bezig om alle pakketten op tijd te sorteren. Dit zodat de mensen thuis op tijd hun pakketje krijgen. Onder dit grote team hangt een gezellig werksfeer. De werksfeer wordt namelijk beoordeeld met een 8+. Om in aanmerking te komen voor deze baan, vragen wij je om het volgende:

Wat ook belangrijk is om te weten, is dat de pakketten tot 20 kilo kunnen wegen, dus fysieke kracht is vereist.

De werktijden zijn van maandag tot en met vrijdag van 17.30 tot 02.00 uur, je kan kiezen tussen 3 of 4 dagen met uitzicht naar fulltime.

Als logistiek medewerker ben je gewend om fysiek zwaar werk te doen. Ook vind je het niet erg om iedere dag in de avonden/nachten te werken. Wat nog meer belangrijk is om te weten:

Eigenlijk is het heel simpel: pakketten sorteren! Jouw shift begint om 17.30 uur, maar jij bent natuurlijk al een tijdje aanwezig. Zo kun je de dag rustig beginnen met een bakje koffie of thee. Daarna ga je naar de werkvloer, want de dagstart begint. Daarin worden alle cijfers van de vorige dag besproken en worden de taken verdeeld. Zo weet jij op welke afdeling jij op die dag gaat werken. Maar welke zijn er dan? Ten eerste, heb je de afdeling ‘opvoeren’. Dit houdt in dat je de pakketten handmatig van de rolcontainers op de lopende band legt. Ten tweede, de afdeling sorteren. Hierbij sta je aan de "sorteer goot" en ga jij pakketten sorteren op postcode. Als laatste kun je ook nog helpen bij het ‘intern transport’. Dit wil zeggen dat je alle rolcontainers naar de juiste plek brengt. Zijn alle pakketten gesorteerd? Dan zit jouw shift als logistiek medewerker erop en kunnen alle pakketten richting de klant!

Je komt te werken bij PostNL in Alphen aan den Rijn: het groenste depot van Nederland! Boven op het dak liggen heel veel zonnepanelen die de sorteermachine draaiende houden. Iedere dag staan hier zo’n 20 tot 25 logistiek medewerkers. Zij zorgen er dagelijks voor dat de pakketten op tijd de deur uit gaan. Het magazijn ligt aan de Steekterweg 91. Goed bereikbaar, zowel op de fiets als met de auto. Op de vloer zul je veel nationaliteiten tegenkomen, dus zo wordt jouw Engelse taal goed getest. Let op, het is belangrijk dat je VOG kan aanvragen!
