Magtivio is een groeiend life science-bedrijf in Nuth. We ontwikkelen en produceren magnetic particles en oplossingen voor sample preparation die worden gebruikt door laboratoria over de hele wereld.

Functieomschrijving

Werk je graag met je handen, houd je van overzicht en heb je oog voor detail?

Als Laboratory Associate help je bij het bereiden van buffers en oplossingen die worden gebruikt in onze producten en workflows. Je meet en mengt oplossingen volgens vaste procedures, zorgt dat alles correct wordt gelabeld en gedocumenteerd en helpt producten gereed te maken voor opslag of verzending.

Het is een praktische functie op het snijvlak van laboratorium, productie en logistiek. Je hoeft geen jarenlange ervaring te hebben. Voor ons is vooral belangrijk dat je nauwkeurig werkt, verantwoordelijkheid neemt en begrijpt dat bij laboratoriumproducten juist de kleine details het verschil kunnen maken.

Goed om te weten

Dit is een praktische functie. Je werkt regelmatig staand en moet in staat zijn materialen tot 20 kg te tillen en te verplaatsen.

Ervaring in een laboratorium-, productie- of logistieke omgeving is mooi meegenomen, maar we kijken net zo goed naar je instelling en bereidheid om te leren.

Wat je gaat doen

• Laboratoriumbuffers en oplossingen bereiden volgens vastgestelde SOP's
• Nauwkeurig afmeten, mengen en aanpassen met behulp van laboratoriumapparatuur
• Bereidings- en batchgegevens correct registreren
• Buffers en materialen nauwkeurig en correct labelen
• Producten voorbereiden en verpakken voor intern gebruik, opslag of verzending
• Ervoor zorgen dat producten veilig en correct worden verpakt
• Ondersteunen bij voorraadbeheer
• Waar nodig ondersteunen bij kwaliteitscontroles

Wat jij meebrengt

• Een MBO-diploma in Chemie, Chemische Technologie of een vergelijkbare richting
• Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal
• Je werkt nauwkeurig en hebt oog voor detail
• Je kunt goed werken volgens procedures en schriftelijke instructies
• Je kunt zelfstandig werken, maar werkt ook graag samen
• Je bent georganiseerd en kunt je werkzaamheden goed plannen
• Basiskennis van laboratoriumprocedures en veilig werken
• Basiservaring met ERP-systemen, Excel, Word en gangbare IT-toepassingen

Nordson Industrial Coating Solutions, a global leader in industrial coating systems, is seeking a highly motivated and talented Associate Commercial Lab Engineer to join our team in Geleen, Netherlands. Summary of the role

The Associate Commercial Lab Engineer supports safe, effective, and efficient testing activities in the European demonstration center. Working under the guidance of senior lab engineering, sales, or business development colleagues, this role assists with equipment setup, test execution, documentation, lab organization, and preparation of customer demonstrations. This position is ideal for an early-career technical professional looking to develop product, application, and customer-facing skills while contributing to commercial opportunities and laboratory excellence across the European sales organization.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support customer tests and demonstrations in the European demonstration center, under supervision.
• Assist with preparation, setup, operation, and clean-up of lab equipment for defined test scenarios.
• Follow established safety procedures and laboratory standards when working with equipment, materials, hand tools, power tools, and electrical systems.
• Document test conditions, observations, results, equipment settings, and relevant technical details accurately and consistently.
• Coordinate with senior colleagues, engineering, sales, and application specialists to understand test objectives and priorities.
• Help maintain the lab in a clean, organized, safe, and audit-ready condition.
• Execute basic maintenance tasks on the lab and demo equipment.
• Conduct basic training sessions for both internal teams and external customers
• Assist with tracking lab supplies, consumables, tools, and equipment readiness, escalating needs for replenishment or maintenance.
• Contribute to basic troubleshooting and problem-solving during tests, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
• Develop product and application knowledge across relevant Nordson ICS product lines.
• Support preparation of test summaries, customer-facing information, and internal updates as requested.

Skills and Qualifications

• Associate degree, bachelor’s degree, vocational qualification, or equivalent technical training in engineering, mechatronics, electrical, mechanical, industrial, or a related technical discipline preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in a technical, laboratory, manufacturing, service, engineering, or customer-support environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to document technical information accurately and consistently.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customer-facing personnel.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Analytical mindset with basic problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies, products, and applications.
• English language skills required; German or additional European language skills are considered an advantage.
• Exposure to automation, electrical systems, robot programming, or powder finishing applications is beneficial but not required.

Travel

• Occasional travel within Europe may be required to support customer demonstrations, training activities, and business needs.
