Wat je gaat doen
As a CNC Milling Machinist, you will be responsible for the entire production process at the CNC machine. You are able to work with at least three different CNC machines and work closely with the CNC Programmer and Manufacturing Engineer. You ensure that complex components are produced safely, efficiently and according to high quality standards.
Your responsibilities include:
- Work preparation and machine setup: You read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, work orders and ISO programs. You set up the CNC machines and tools and ensure that materials and tools are correctly secured.
- CNC machining: You mill one-off parts, complex products and welded constructions using 4-axis and 5-axis CNC machines with Siemens control systems. You mainly work with stainless steel, but also with plastics, steel and other materials.
- Quality and production: You inspect your own work, monitor quality, delivery times and standard times, and ensure that orders are fully completed and components are finished according to the applicable standards.
- Organisation and internal transport: You participate in work meetings and daily start-up meetings, coordinate activities within the team and carry out the required internal transport using, for example, a forklift or overhead crane.
- Maintenance and guidance: You perform first-line maintenance and, where necessary, support and guide colleagues, employees and interns within the team.
- Continuous improvement: You contribute ideas regarding the manufacturability and producibility of products. In addition, you discuss the approach to activities and any potential issues with the Production Manager, Manufacturing Engineer and/or CNC Programmer.
- Product development: You work together with the CNC Programmer and Manufacturing Engineer on the transition from prototype to pilot series and ultimately to production release.

- A gross monthly salary between €4,300 and €5,000, including ADV- and shift allowance;
- 27 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance;
- Travel allowance of €0.23 net per kilometre;

The working hours are:
- Monday to Thursday: 06:00–15:00 or 15:00–00:00;
- Friday: 06:00–11:30 or 11:30–17:00.
Functie-eisen
For this position, we are looking for a technically skilled CNC Milling Machinist who works accurately, takes responsibility and enjoys contributing ideas to the production process.
- You have an MBO level 3 or 4 qualification, preferably in Machining/Metalworking;
- You are able to read and interpret technical drawings;
- You have experience with CNC machining;
- You are willing and able to work with different CNC machines;
- You have knowledge of setting up machines and tools;
- You work accurately, systematically and in an organised manner;
- You have an eye for quality and safety;
- You are able to work well with colleagues and share knowledge;
- You are technically skilled and have good spatial awareness;
- You are willing to contribute ideas for improvements within the production process;
- You take responsibility for your own activities and results.

The production site is easily accessible from, for example, Breda, Tilburg and Waalwijk.
