Als Senior Datacenter Monteur draai je de projecten waar het op aankomt: complete installaties in de zwaarst beveiligde datacenters van Europa, belastingtesten met de loadbank en de storingen die niemand anders opgelost krijgt. Je bereidt het werk voor, maakt het werkplan, stemt af met de klant en met de fabrikant en tekent af op de oplevering. Als werkverantwoordelijke en installatieverantwoordelijke bepaal jij hoe er veilig gewerkt wordt en wie wat mag doen. Naast je staan leerlingen en assistenten die jij opleidt tot monteurs die zelfstandig draaien, want zo groeit het team mee met de vraag. Ruime UPS-ervaring is mooi meegenomen, maar wat telt is dat je het vak in de utiliteit hebt geleerd en verantwoordelijkheid durft te dragen.

De kern: Salaris €4.100 tot €4.900 per maand · 40 uur per week · Fulltime · Standplaats Wateringen.

In deze rol verdien je €4.100 bij instap, oplopend tot €4.900 als ervaren senior. Doorgroeien naar Lead Datacenter Engineer kan tot €5.900.

Wat je meebrengt

• Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring als elektromonteur in de utiliteit, bijvoorbeeld kantoren, zorg, industrie of datacenters
• MBO 3+ Elektrotechniek
• NEN 3140 VP, VCA VOL en NEN 1010
• Je bent werkverantwoordelijke (WV) en installatieverantwoordelijke (IV) volgens NEN 3140, of je groeit daar bij ons naartoe

As a Senior Data Center Engineer you run the projects that matter: complete installations in the most secure data centers in Europe, load tests with the loadbank and the faults nobody else gets solved. You prepare the work, write the work plan, align with the client and with the manufacturer, and sign off on the handover. As work responsible person and installation responsible person you decide how the work is done safely and who may do what. Apprentices and assistants work beside you and you train them into engineers who can run a job on their own, because that is how the team grows with demand. Extensive UPS experience is welcome, but what counts is that you learned the trade in commercial and industrial buildings and dare to carry responsibility.

The essentials: Salary €4.100 to €4.900 per month 40 hours per week Fulltime Based in Wateringen.

In this role you earn €4.100 at entry, rising to €4.900 as an experienced senior. Growing on to Lead Data Center Engineer can reach €5.900.

What you bring

• At least 5 years of experience as an electrical engineer in commercial and industrial buildings, for example offices, healthcare, industry or data centers
• MBO 3+ Electrical Engineering
• NEN 3140 VP, VCA VOL and NEN 1010
• You are the work responsible person (WV) and installation responsible person (IV) under NEN 3140, or you grow into those roles with us
• Knowledge of UPS systems, batteries and backup power, extensive experience with them is a strong plus
• You can lead a team and are a point of contact for clients
• You train apprentices and assistants into fully independent engineers
• Driver's license B, BE is a plus

UPS-systemen, batterijbanken en noodstroom: de installaties die servers in de lucht houden, ook als het net wegvalt. Je vervangt batterijmodules, meet spanning en conductantie, trekt en labelt kabels en legt vast wat je hebt gedaan, want in deze gebouwen weegt het dossier net zo zwaar als het werk zelf. De ene week sta je in Amsterdam, de week daarna in Frankfurt of Brussel, op locaties waar bijna niemand binnenkomt. Kom je uit de utiliteit en is UPS nieuw voor je, dan leer je die systemen hier op de installatie zelf, naast een ervaren monteur. Fysiek, technisch en nauwkeurig, want een foutje is hier geen optie.

You are responsible for the site. For the technology, the planning, the safety and for what the client experiences.

As Lead Data Center Engineer you carry responsibility for a complete data center site, or for a defined part of one: full power infrastructure in Tier 4 data centers, from preparation and engineering through installation to handover. You build the planning and the phasing, spread the teams across the work and hold progress against what was agreed. HSE is not a side issue here, you set how the work is done safely and, as work responsible person and installation responsible person, you put that on paper. Towards the client you are adviser and point of contact: you think along on choices, align with the manufacturer that commissions the systems, and keep the process on site running as tightly as possible. No management layer above you, but a direct line to the leadership and influence on how First Case sets up its work technically.

The essentials: Salary €4.900 to €5.900 per month 38 hours per week Fulltime Based in Wateringen.

As Lead you earn €4.900 at entry, rising to €5.900 through the CAO pay grades. This is the highest technical role at First Case: there is no higher up the technical path.

What you bring

• Extensive experience (8+ years) as an electrical engineer or engineer in commercial and industrial buildings, with responsibility for critical installations
• Knowledge of UPS systems and backup power, in-depth experience with them is a strong plus
• NEN 3140 VP, VCA VOL and NEN 1010
• You are the work responsible person (WV) and installation responsible person (IV) under NEN 3140
• Proven experience in project leadership, planning and client advice at senior level
• You can lead technical teams and are the face of First Case to the biggest clients
• You own HSE on site: safe working, work plan and toolbox talks, and you hold people to it
• You plan and organise the work: phasing, staffing, materials and progress
• English at working level

If you come from commercial and industrial buildings and UPS is new to you, you learn those systems here on the installation itself, alongside an experienced engineer.
