Responsibilities
- Receiving and inspecting returned glassware, tableware, and kitchen equipment
- Sorting incoming materials and preparing them for the washing process
- Operating, loading, and unloading automated washing machines
- Cleaning larger event items manually using specialized tools
- Polishing, drying, and checking processed items for quality standards
- Storing clean materials systematically in designated warehouse locations
- Maintaining a clean and organized work space in the dishwashing area
We are looking for
- Availability to work during morning, evening, or weekend shifts
- Ability to handle physically active warehouse work
- Reliable work ethic and commitment to scheduled shifts
- Basic communication skills in English or Dutch

Als Medewerker Evenementen afval is geen werkdag hetzelfde. Je werkt met een team op toffe plekken zoals beurzen, festivals en evenementen verspreid door Amsterdam. Jouw belangrijkste taken zijn: - Afval sorteren en containers op de goede plek zetten
- Vuilniswagens en machines bedienen (hiervoor krijg je een interne training)
- Veilig werken volgens duidelijke regels en protocollen
- Goed samenwerken met collega’s en contact houden met leidinggevenden van de locatie
- Zorgen voor een schone, opgeruimde werkplek
De werktijden zijn flexibel. Je werkt overdag, ‘s avonds of in het weekend, afhankelijk van het evenement. Wat verwachten wij van jou?
- Je bent enthousiast, betrouwbaar en een echte aanpakker
- Zorgvuldig werken en verantwoordelijkheid nemen is geen probleem
- Je vindt het prima om op onregelmatige tijden te werken

- Ervaring met afvalverwerking of evenementen is mooi meegenomen, maar niet verplicht
- Je spreekt goed Nederlands en Engels
Wat mag jij van ons verwachten?
- Een salaris tussen €2.600,- en €3.100,- per maand o.b.v. 40 uur
- Extra toeslagen voor avond- en weekenddiensten (130% en 150%)
- Flexibele uren (24-40 uur per week)
- Reiskostenvergoeding van €0,23 per kilometer vanaf 10 kilometer
- Mogelijkheden om een opleiding te volgen, zoals rijbewijs C/CE
- Doorgroeimogelijkheden naar bijvoorbeeld floormanager of projectleider
