EMEA Indirect Tax Manager

Overview

In this role you drive VAT compliance for our EMEA operations, coordinating with cross-functional teams and Fortive/Fluke finance. You lead VAT reporting, risk management, and process improvements, shaping how we handle VAT across 30 registrations and 25 subsidiaries. You will own VAT automation efforts (Oracle eBTax rules, iTax with 4Apps, e-invoicing) and partner with local tax authorities as needed. You join a dynamic international finance team and influence tax optimization and continuous improvement.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Monitor and maintain VAT compliance across EMEA with timely VAT returns, EC Sales listings, and Intrastat
• Review VAT returns and ensure accurate, timely completion by involved teams
• Reconcile EC Sales Lists, EC Purchase lists, and Intrastat Declarations for all registrations
• Validate internal processes and transactions for proper VAT accounting
• Maximize efficiencies in operating and reporting systems to reduce VAT liabilities within legal framework
• Liaise with tax authorities during audits and inquiries
• Stay updated on local rules across EMEA and translate impacts to internal processes

Belangrijkste vereisten

• Minimum 5 years of EU VAT Compliance and tax project management in international/US organizations

• Strong knowledge of VAT compliance across multi-EMEA jurisdictions

• Proven ability to initiate and manage change projects

• Ability to identify risks, review effectively, and escalate when needed

• Fluency in English

• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

• Hands-on, detail-oriented, able to switch between tactical and strategic issues
