Overview

In this role, you manage ABB's EMEA cash management operations from Rotterdam, shaping liquidity, funding, and In-House Bank activities across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India. You will work with a global team to optimize cash pools, payments, and cashless settlements, while handling high-value transactions and complex funding needs. This position offers exposure to strategic treasury processes in a fast-paced, multinational environment and a path for professional growth within ABB's global treasury function.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Decide country-level liquidity levels and ensure timely payment cycles for EMEA entities
• Oversee liquidity needs for holding and restricted entities, including non-pooled bank accounts
• Monitor and adapt short-term financing strategies based on business needs
• Manage the global In-House Bank: payments, collections, and receipts for ABB entities
• Oversee cash pool management, investments, and participant monitoring
• Optimize In-House Bank framework: cash allocation rules and interest rates
• Execute high-value transactions (e.g., M&A closings, dividend payments, capital injections)
• Manage liquidity for the global share buyback program
• Oversee group-wide netting and cashless settlements

Belangrijkste vereisten

• University degree (Bachelor) in Finance, Banking or Accounting

• 1-2 years of treasury experience including currency exposure management, cash management, risk management, and financial analysis

• Experience with cash pools, In-House Bank, and Inter-Company Netting

• Fundamental understanding of payments infrastructure

• Analytical skills and ability to meet strict deadlines

• Team player with proactive mindset, adaptable to multicultural environments

• Strong communication skills; fluent in English; additional languages a plus
