Overview

In this role you shape Ecorys' Markets & Industry portfolio from Rotterdam, partnering with the European Commission and other public-sector clients to drive economic transformation. You will lead business development, portfolio management and technical leadership, guiding multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-impact assessments, evaluations and strategic advice. You will balance growth with quality, stakeholder satisfaction and sustainable profitability. This is a stakeholder-facing, senior leadership role at the heart of Resilient Economies, offering influence across policy and market-regulatory domains.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Acquire & account management: grow the Markets & Industry portfolio by building senior EC relationships, identifying opportunities, shaping bids and partnerships, and driving order intake and financial targets

Belangrijkste vereisten

• 15+ years of relevant consulting, advisory or public-policy experience

• Strong European Commission experience, ideally with DG GROW, DG CONNECT or related services

• Proven track record of winning and delivering EC contracts, including 2m+ order intake

• 10+ years of project management experience

• Expertise in industrial competitiveness, market regulation, innovation, digitalisation, economic security, resilient value chains or related areas

• Fluent English; Dutch or another European language is an advantage

• Postgraduate qualification in Economics, Public Policy or a related field

• Strong stakeholder management

• Excellent communication

• People leadership and coaching

• Evaluation and impact assessment

• Economic studies and technical assistance

• European Commission methodologies and bid management
