Overview

In this role you consolidate departmental roadmaps into a single, integrated portfolio for Commerce & Supply Chain in a fast-paced international retail environment. You govern portfolio governance, prioritisation, and investment processes, and report to the Head of Project & Portfolio Management. You collaborate across business, IT, BI, and process management to align delivery. You will lead a team of 6-8 Medior Project Managers and drive executive-level reporting and decision-making. This is a strategic, cross-functional role with visible impact on portfolio health and value delivery.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Consolidate multiple programme roadmaps into a unified portfolio
• Prioritise initiatives based on strategic value and business impact
• Establish and maintain portfolio governance frameworks
• Standardise project approvals, documentation, and investment procedures
• Coordinate alignment between business, IT, BI, process management, and delivery teams
• Monitor resource allocation and capacity planning across projects
• Track portfolio performance, risks, dependencies, and health
• Escalate strategic risks to senior leadership
• Support strategic planning and investment decision-making
• Present portfolio performance to executive management
• Lead and coach a team of 6-8 Medior Project Managers

Belangrijkste vereisten

• Master's degree (MSc)

• Minimum 8 years in Project Portfolio Management in a large, fast-paced organisation

• Proven experience in Change Management and Project Management

• Experience in Supply Chain, Commerce, Retail or related industries preferred

• Strong people management and leadership capabilities

• Excellent stakeholder management skills

• Analytical and structured mindset

• Strong communication skills with executive stakeholders

• Ability to operate cross-functionally and beyond departmental boundaries

• Self-starter with proactive attitude

• Fluent English; Dutch a plus
