Overview

In this role you own the indirect spend categories, shaping sourcing strategies and supplier performance to create value. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders and an international procurement network to align local needs with global ambitions. You'll drive cost efficiency, supplier sustainability, and risk management while accelerating procurement maturity. You thrive on owning.category outcomes and influencing business decisions in a collaborative, international environment.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Develop and execute category strategies for indirect spend categories
• Analyse supplier markets and translate business needs into procurement solutions
• Lead sourcing and tender projects from strategy through implementation
• Build category plans aligned with business objectives
• Partner with Finance, HR, IT, Facilities, Operations and others to deliver effective solutions
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements with suppliers
• Manage supplier relationships and drive performance improvements
• Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, standardisation and efficiency gains
• Monitor spend, savings and procurement performance
• Support international procurement initiatives and local implementation
• Contribute to sustainability, compliance and risk management objectives

Belangrijkste vereisten

• Bachelor degree or equivalent

• Several years of experience in Procurement, Category Management, Strategic Sourcing or Supplier Management

• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills

• Experience working with a broad stakeholder network

• Analytical mindset with commercial awareness

• Ability to operate in Dutch and English

• Experience in indirect procurement or international organisations is an advantage
