The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Engagement Manager (EM) to join our team and lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects. In this role you will combine technical expertise with strong project leadership skills to drive successful implementations of AWS-based solutions for our clients. You will bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating technical discussions and ensuring alignment with customer outcomes. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working as a Scrum Master or Product Owner across multiple cross-functional teams
  • Experience in leading the delivery of IT projects with external customers or equivalent
  • Experience in program or engagement management, leading other project managers to deliver a program with multiple and concurrent projects
  • Experience with Agile and project management toolsets like Jira, Rally, VersionOne or Taiga
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your role as Operations Manager

As Operations Manager, you are accountable for end‑to‑end execution within your shift and for contributing to overall site performance. Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading daily operational execution within your rotation, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient outbound and dispatch activities
  • Driving performance through KPIs, dashboards and data insights, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions
  • Championing LEAN, continuous improvement and process standardisation, ensuring operations remain scalable and consistent
  • Coaching and developing Warehouse Managers and their teams, including performance management, training and succession planning
  • Planning and allocating staff, workload and resources across shifts in close collaboration with support functions and the customer
  • Creating a safe, inclusive and engaging working environment, maintaining up‑to‑date procedures, documentation and compliance standards
  • Working closely with and reporting directly to the Head of Operations, aligning on priorities, performance expectations and execution

What we’re looking for

You bring senior operational experience and a strong leadership mindset. You ideally have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a complex, high‑volume warehouse or supply chain environment, ideally with exposure to automation
  • Proven experience of managing Managers and leading/ developing large teams (50+ employees) with the ability to influence across multiple levels
  • Strong communication skills in English (additional languages such as Dutch, or Spanish are a plus)
  • A hands‑on, resilient and results‑driven approach, with the ability to perform under pressure without compromising standards
  • Strong analytical, reporting and financial understanding, with the ability to turn data into action
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a genuine motivation to grow — personally and professionally
  • Ability to work shifts which includes nights and weekends (Shift allowance is payable)

Het Customer Due Diligence traineeship bestaat uit een aantal vaste onderdelen:

  • Doorlopend vaardigheidstrainingen, vakinhoudelijke opleidingen zoals Wft’s en leergang bestrijding witwassen.

Werken met de Wet ter voorkoming van witwassen en financieren van terrorisme (Wwft)

In dit traineeship werk je bij toporganisaties zoals de ASN Bank, ING of ABN AMRO, waar je alert bent op veranderingen in wet- en regelgeving binnen de financiële sector. Je verdiept je in dossiers, beoordeelt de integriteit van zowel nieuwe als bestaande klanten en voert gedetailleerde controles uit op zowel zakelijke als particuliere klantgegevens. Je krijgt daarnaast de kans om jouw talenten in te zetten bij gerenommeerde bedrijven zoals KPMG, Alfam en Deloitte.

Jouw rol als CDD-analist

Als trainee ben jij de expert die de risico’s van klanten onderzoekt om zo onnodige kosten en reputatieschade voor banken te voorkomen. Jij adviseert of het veilig is om zaken te doen met een klant en legt je bevindingen vast in een gedetailleerd rapport. Je hebt een passie voor het ontdekken van losse eindjes en het verbinden van de puzzelstukken , zodat banken zich kunnen richten op hun core business: geld op een legale manier laten rollen!

Het eerste jaar staat in het teken van ervaring opdoen binnen de financiële sector, bijvoorbeeld via een algemene opdracht of als Customer Due Diligence (CDD) analist. In deze periode scherp je jouw communicatieve vaardigheden en resultaatgerichtheid aan. In beide rollen leer je snel schakelen tussen verschillende partijen en bouw je een sterke basis in CDD onderzoek.

Opleidingen en trainingen in het CDD traineeship

In de Talentfase ontwikkel je een brede basis in CDD, AML en compliance. Je behaalt je Wft Basis en Wwft-certificaten , volgt trainingen in risicoanalyse, dataverwerking en gespreksvoering. Deze fase geeft je de kennis en vaardigheden om zelfstandig te werken in CDD-teams.

In de Profase verdiep je je in complexere dossiers. Je werkt aan risicovolle klantrelaties, neemt zelfstandig beslissingen en draagt bij aan procesoptimalisatie en innovatie in compliance. Na afronding van de Profase kun je doorgroeien naar functies zoals senior CDD-analist, AML-specialist of compliance officer.

Met behulp van AI en speech-to-text modellen biedt je domeinen nieuwe tools om klantreizen te verbeteren.
