PostNL Tiel is one of PostNL's crossdock locations. Here, roll containers full of packages are transferred to be sent to the correct destination with a different driver. How does this work? Trucks arrive with, for example, three roll containers for the Tilburg region and three for the Breda region. Each region is collected separately so that a full truck can drive to Tilburg and another to Breda. This saves unnecessary trips across the country for just a few roll containers. As a logistics employee nightshifts, you unload the trucks and place the roll containers in the right sections. Is there an empty truck that needs to be filled? You make sure the correct roll containers are loaded. Then you neatly put the roll containers back into the truck.

  • Flexible working hours in rotation from 09:00 PM to 05:30 AM, 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM, 00:30 AM to 09:00 AM and 01:30 AM to 10:00 AM.

who are you

To keep the warehouse running smoothly, it is important that you, as a reachtruck driver, meet the following requirements:

  • You are 18 years or older;
  • You have your own car;
  • You can work in Wijchen for the first 3 weeks and then in Tilburg;
  • You are 37.5 hours available per week;
  • You have experience operating a reach truck;
  • You have a certificate or are willing to obtain one through us;
  • You are available within one month.
what will you do

Your shift starts with a short team meeting, and then you are off! Some days you will be driving on the reachtruck, other days you will help with packing. No shifts are the same. Your responsibilities as an all-around reach truck driver:

  • Safely transport Nokia equipment within the warehouse;
  • Placing products at heights of up to 10 meters;
  • Ensuring a tidy and safe workspace;
  • Packing orders according to the system;
  • Performing various warehouse tasks in addition to operating a reachtruck.
