As an assistant team leader, it is important that you meet the following requirements:

• You have extensive experience in logistics in various departments;
• You are good at working with people;
• You are proficient in the English language;
• You are available full-time from Monday to Friday;
• You are available during the day shift: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM;
• You live near Samsung Breda (by the furniture boulevard).

As an assistant team leader at Samsung, you will work in the inventory department. Here they count parts. The focus is on quality and details. The parts are then brought into the warehouse with an EPT (Electric Pallet Truck). You will ensure that everything runs smoothly in this department. This means that you will sometimes help on the work floor, but also manage the team. Are there deviations or exceptions? Then you’ll make sure that this runs smoothly. You also solve problems that might occur in the department. You will communicate problems to the manager when you notice them. So no day is the same! 😊

You will be working at Samsung Breda. You can easily find this warehouse, as it is located at the furniture boulevard. Fancy something tasty after work? PostNL Zaltbommel is a transfer and storage location, also known as a cross-dock, not a sorting center. A lot of trucks come to the depot; some arrive to unload roll containers, while others come to load them. You will ensure that containers are correctly placed for each driver, assisting with both loading and unloading. This includes positioning containers so they are ready for the next driver or stored temporarily without obstructing others. Arriving at the large PostNL warehouse in Zaltbommel, you greet your colleagues and grab a quick drink. You put on your work shoes, store your belongings in a locker, and get ready to start your shift!

• Working days: Monday through Sunday.

So, what exactly does a logistic employee do at PostNL Zaltbommel? As a transfer and storage location for PostNL, you will be working with your colleagues to load and unload trucks. Drivers come and go throughout the day. You will help them by unloading roll containers and placing them in the correct storage areas. You will do this at a steady pace, allowing the drivers to get back on the road quickly. If an empty truck arrives, you will help with loading, ensuring the correct containers go with the driver. Since trucks arrive at various times, your work operates on a rotating shift schedule.

• Working days: Monday through Sunday.
• Working hours: evening/night shift 20:00 – 05:00, night shift 01:30 – 10:00.

As a logistic employee, you will be part of an international team. Together you will ensure each driver sends the correct roll containers out. Drivers come and go frequently, and team leaders are open to your ideas if you see ways to improve the process. The process manager and (assistant) team leaders are also from the Tempo Team.
