Who you are
As an assistant team leader, it is important that you meet the following requirements:
- You have experience in logistics in various departments;
- You are good at working with people;
- You speak good English;
- You are available full-time from Monday to Friday;
- You are available during the day shift: 6:00 AM till 15:00 PM and 15:00 PM till 00:00 AM
- You live near Samsung Breda (by the furniture boulevard).
What will you do
In this role, you are the key person on the Inbound department. You support the team leader and when they are away, you confidently take over! And your day is also very diverse! For about 50% of your time (around 20 hours a week), you help out on the floor. The other half of your time, you are busy coordinating, guiding, and organizing.
Your daily to-do list looks like this:
- You are the main point of contact for the warehouse operators. You train new colleagues, motivate the team, and create an environment focused on learning and safety.
- Just like the troubleshooters, you spot errors in the logistics process. You solve problems quickly and set the right priorities to meet all deadlines.
- You communicate smoothly with office staff, other operation teams and transport planning (about inbound delivery planning). You also provide the correct data to your team leader or supervisor.
- You take care of scanner registrations, check and refill supplies, and make sure everyone works in a safe and clean environment.
Where will you work
You will be working at Samsung Breda. You can easily find this warehouse, as it is located at the furniture boulevard. Fancy something tasty after work? The atmosphere on the work floor is informal and friendly. On special days, fun things are also organized, such as a ping-pong tournament. This way you can challenge each other differently 😉!

Who you are
As a logistics employee nightshifts, you help with loading and unloading trucks. This means moving roll containers that can weigh up to 150 kilos. No problem for you! Additionally, you are available for at least three evenings/nights and:
- You can request a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct);
- You speak Dutch or English;
- You have your own transport to get to work.
What will you do
PostNL Tiel is one of PostNL's crossdock locations. Here, roll containers full of packages are transferred to be sent to the correct destination with a different driver. How does this work? Trucks arrive with, for example, three roll containers for the Tilburg region and three for the Breda region. Each region is collected separately so that a full truck can drive to Tilburg and another to Breda. This saves unnecessary trips across the country for just a few roll containers. As a logistics employee nightshifts, you unload the trucks and place the roll containers in the right sections. Is there an empty truck that needs to be filled? You make sure the correct roll containers are loaded. Then you neatly put the roll containers back into the truck.
- Flexible working hours in rotation from 09:00 PM to 05:30 AM, 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM, 00:30 AM to 09:00 AM and 01:30 AM to 10:00 AM.
- Working days Monday through Friday and Sunday in rotation.
Where will you work
The PostNL Tiel warehouse is located at Hoekwei 6 in Tiel. You can easily reach it by car, bike or scooter. With an international team of colleagues, you ensure all packages are sent with the right driver. It can be hard work on the floor, but everyone helps each other out to make the job easier. Team leaders also regularly provide something nice during the break, like a stroopwafel or a soft drink. Want more responsibility as a logistics employee nightshifts?
