At K + N, everything that has not been sold is processed in the supermarket. We work with the principle of recycling as much as possible.

Activities:
Trucks deliver large bags with empty bottles and cans, with a deposit on them. (These are the bottles that customers return in shops, clubs, canteens, etc.) These bags must be removed from the trucks, most colleagues drag them across the floor.
In general, one (if suitable) is trained as a counting operator: He/she is responsible for the machine where the bottles and cans are counted and split. Split on; Color and cans.

Count operator:
The counting operator takes a bag, cuts off the label (this contains the sender's details and quantities) and empties the bag into the machine. The machine scans the bottles/cans and throws those that cannot be scanned into a container, which you have to scan manually.

PostNL Tiel is one of PostNL's crossdock locations. Here, roll containers full of packages are transferred to be sent to the correct destination with a different driver. How does this work? Trucks arrive with, for example, three roll containers for the Tilburg region and three for the Breda region. Each region is collected separately so that a full truck can drive to Tilburg and another to Breda. This saves unnecessary trips across the country for just a few roll containers. As a logistics employee nightshifts, you unload the trucks and place the roll containers in the right sections. Is there an empty truck that needs to be filled? You make sure the correct roll containers are loaded. Then you neatly put the roll containers back into the truck.

• You are available at least 3 days a week;

• You are physically fit to pack the glasses at a fast pace;
• You can work at least in the night shift: 21:45-05:45;
• You can work preferably one other extra shift from: 05:45-13:45 or 13:45-21:45.

What will you do
As a packing employee you will work in the glass factory in Leerdam. You have your own place along the production line where you check the glasses for quality. ✨ You then pack them in boxes. 📦 You will receive instructions how exactly the glasses should be packed. After this, you stack the boxes on pallets. These boxes are picked up by your colleague with a forklift. This way, the glasses can be sent to IKEA on time. Let's go! 🚀

Where will you work
As a packing employee you find yourself in a paradise of glasses. You work in the factory of Leerdam Crisal Glass. IKEA glasses are produced here. Interesting to see! 😃 There is a nice, informal working atmosphere in the warehouse. There is always room for a chat during your work. That's why you quickly feel at home. 🤍 But of course we also work hard to send the glasses to the customer on time. Are you doing well? Then you can work at LCG for longer period of time! 🚀

• Monday morning shift: 03:00 - 07:30
