Wat je gaat doen

As a CNC Turner, you are responsible for the complete machining process of your products. Accuracy is important, but so is your ability to think along and solve technical challenges. Your responsibilities include: - Setting up and operating CNC lathes;

• Programming and adjusting CNC programmes;
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings;
• Selecting and setting cutting tools;
• Checking dimensions and tolerances using measuring equipment;
• Performing quality checks during production;
• Identifying and correcting deviations;
• Optimising programmes and machining processes;
• Thinking along about improvements in efficiency, quality and production;
• Keeping your machine and workplace clean and safe.

You won't simply be operating a machine. Your technical knowledge and judgement are an important part of the production process. You work full-time in a 2-shift schedule:
Morning: 06:00 – 14:30
Afternoon: 14:00 – 22:30 Wat we je bieden

Functie-eisen

We are looking for an experienced CNC professional who can work independently and takes pride in producing accurate parts.You have: - Experience as a CNC Turner, CNC Machinist or CNC Lathe Operator;

• Experience setting up CNC machines;
• Experience programming and adjusting CNC programmes;
• The ability to read and understand technical drawings;
• Experience using measuring equipment;
• Good technical insight and attention to detail;
• A quality-focused and independent way of working;
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift schedule;
• Good communication skills in English or Dutch.

Voor deze stoere rol zoeken we een gedreven doener met veel energie. Je pakt moeiteloos een schep op en bedient met gemak professionele gereedschappen. Ook als de tijdsdruk op de werkplek toeneemt, blijf je altijd rustig. Een attente veiligheidsadviseur houdt toezicht, maar je neemt zelf ook alle verantwoording. Je spoort collega's aan en behoudt moeiteloos de controle over het project.

• Je werkt heel graag buiten op uitdagende locaties;
• Je volgt de veiligheidsinstructies op het spoor altijd uiterst nauwkeurig op;
• Je bent in het bezit van een autorijbewijs en een eigen auto;
• Je spreekt en schrijft de Nederlandse taal uitstekend;
• Je vindt fysiek werk en wisselende werktijden geen probleem.

wat ga je doen
Samen met een gedreven club van specialisten klaren jullie elke complexe taak. Met zwaar gereedschap leg je nieuwe kabelnetwerken aan langs de spoorbaan. De werkzaamheden vinden onder andere plaats in de avond, de nacht of het weekend. Zo hebben de machinist en reizigers geen last van de werkzaamheden. Een betrokken collega ondersteunt je intensief bij alle technische montagestappen.

• Je voert secuur grondwerk uit ter voorbereiding op het kabelwerk;
• Je legt kabels aan voor de wisselverwarming, stroom en de signalering;
• Je bouwt mee aan technische systemen zoals de toegangspoortjes op stations;
• Je ziet streng toe op de naleving van alle veiligheidsregels;
• Je overlegt regelmatig over de werkplanning met de uitvoerder.

BAM Infra bouwt en onderhoudt het complete spoornetwerk in heel Nederland. De werkgever gebruikt een van de nieuwste technieken om de rails te vernieuwen. De sfeer is heel open, hecht en collegiaal.
