Reach Truck Driver - Cold Storage

Description

As a Reach Truck Driver, you will work in a large cold storage warehouse where food products are stored before being delivered to supermarkets and restaurants. Your main task as a Reach Truck Driver is to move incoming goods to the correct location in the cold storage warehouse. You will also prepare goods for transport and help with other tasks when needed. The work pace is quite high, and the team works closely together. That is why it is important that you are ready to get to work, take initiative, and see what needs to be done. At the start of each shift, there is a short briefing to discuss the tasks for the day and who will be responsible for each activity.

You will work from Monday to Friday in a two-shift system:

• Day shift: 07:00–16:00
• Evening shift: 15:00–00:00

During your shift, you will have three breaks of 20 minutes. Sometimes, you may be asked to work during the weekend.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Reach Truck Driver who is comfortable working in a cold storage warehouse at a temperature of around 2°C.

It is also important that you:

• Live in or near Bodegraven (within 20 km)
• Have at least 2 years of proven work experience as a Reach Truck Driver
• Are comfortable working in a cold environment
• Are willing to work in a two-shift system
• Speak English

Our offer

When you start as a Reach Truck Driver, you can expect:

• A gross salary between €2,650 and €3,000 per month, depending on your experience and based on 40 hours per week
• The possibility of a permanent contract
• Shift allowance of 135% after 18:00 and 130% for hours worked above 40 per week
• Weekend allowance: 150% on Saturdays and 200% on Sundays
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km, in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Professional Goods Transport
