Overview

In this role you lead the discipline engineering within a major project, acting as the technical authority and primary liaison among the EPCM contractor, client site representatives, and home-office teams. You drive quality, scope clarity, and timely delivery of design and drawings, while upholding safety and operational standards. You will work with operations, maintenance, and site stakeholders to incorporate practical input and support procurement. This position offers impact across large capital projects in a global, cross-functional environment.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Direct and oversee discipline-specific engineering operations across the project lifecycle
• Serve as primary contact to align EPCM contractor, client site reps, and home-office discipline teams
• Monitor contractor performance, manage scope, quality, budget, and deliverables; escalate risks
• Provide expert technical advice and resolve complex discipline-related engineering challenges
• Approve key design decisions per authorization procedures
• Ensure design input from operations, maintenance, and site reps
• Conduct site inspections and data collection/verification with EPCM contractor
• Support procurement activities and align site management with project teams

Belangrijkste vereisten

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline

• Proven leadership on large capital/EPCM projects, ideally from an owner/customer perspective (including commissioning)

• Deep expertise in discipline engineering, Operational Excellence Standards, HSE Guidelines, and process design reviews

• Strong contractor and stakeholder management across multinational teams

• Decisive problem solver with ability to address technical issues with site stakeholders
