Overview

As Category Buyer Services at Huisman, you drive on-time deliveries and cost-effective procurement for complex projects. You collaborate with Category Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure quality, budget, and continuity. You'll negotiate contracts, identify cost-saving opportunities, and strengthen supplier partnerships to support groundbreaking innovations. This role blends global scope with hands-on impact, in a culture that values initiative and collaboration.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Develop commodity strategies with Category Manager
• Secure best price, quality, and on-time delivery
• Negotiate and implement supplier contracts and framework agreements
• Identify opportunities for innovation, cost reduction, and continuous improvement
• Build and maintain transparent relationships with key suppliers

Belangrijkste vereisten

• Bachelor degree (Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management)

• Nevi 1 or equivalent and Nevi 2 (or willingness to train)

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a technical organization

• Affinity with technology

• Strong analytical skills, proactive mindset, ownership

• EU passport/valid NL work permit

• European Driver's License

• Good English (written and spoken); Dutch preferred
