Als Assembly Specialist ben jij een belangrijke schakel binnen ons productieproces. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het nauwkeurig assembleren en controleren van verschillende onderdelen en producten. Met jouw technisch inzicht, precisie en praktische instelling zorg je ervoor dat ieder eindproduct aan de gestelde kwaliteitseisen voldoet. Wat ga je doen?- Assembleren en monteren: je assembleert onderdelen en producten aan de hand van technische tekeningen en werkinstructies.

• Kwaliteitscontrole: je controleert jouw werk zorgvuldig en voert visuele en functionele controles uit om de kwaliteit te waarborgen.
• Werken met gereedschap en machines: je werkt met verschillende handgereedschappen en machines en weet deze op de juiste manier toe te passen.
• Technische problemen signaleren: je herkent afwijkingen of kleine technische problemen en denkt actief mee over passende oplossingen.
• Procesverbetering: je signaleert mogelijkheden om werkzaamheden slimmer, efficiënter en kwalitatief beter uit te voeren.
• Samenwerken: je werkt nauw samen met collega's en andere afdelingen om gezamenlijk een optimaal eindproduct te realiseren.

Wat je gaat doen

As an assembly mechanic machine building, you are involved in the complete assembly process of high-quality machines and modules. Together with your colleagues, you build machines that are used worldwide. Based on technical drawings and work instructions, you assemble components accurately and ensure every machine meets the required quality standards.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys practical technical work, has an eye for detail and wants to continue developing within machine building. Experience is a plus, but your technical interest and motivation are just as important.

Your responsibilities as an assembly mechanic machine building include:

• Assembling machines and modules based on technical drawings;
• Installing, assembling and adjusting mechanical and mechatronic components;
• Testing and checking machines during the assembly process;
• Identifying improvements and reporting technical issues;
• Working together with colleagues from different departments to achieve the best results.

You will work from 07:30 to 16:30 during the day shift. In the future, the organization may move towards a two-shift schedule. Therefore, it is important that you are open to working in shifts when required.

• A gross monthly salary between €3200,- and €3600,- based on a full-time working week, depending on your experience;

what will you do
As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will work on the production of geometric X-ray arches. These are advanced medical systems used by hospitals worldwide. It is complex technical work. It is also physically demanding. You will assemble parts according to technical drawings and work instructions. You will also test the systems for mechanical and electrical functionality.

Furthermore, you will work on various components, such as the arches, flex arms, and the L-arc. Being comfortable with hand tools is essential for this position. You will be part of a production environment where precision is key.

where will you work
Philips Healthcare in Best develops and produces advanced medical equipment. Our portfolio includes MRI machines, DXR machines, and IGT systems. These products support hospitals and medical specialists across the globe. Our department is growing rapidly, and we need your expertise to reach our new production goals.

You will join an informal team of about 30 colleagues, including technicians, troubleshooters, spinners, and testers. Expect a social and collegial atmosphere where teamwork is a priority. Two team leaders are available to provide support and guidance.

A thorough, two-month training period marks your start at Philips. During this time, a dedicated mentor will guide you through our processes. Completing this training results in a formal certification, ensuring you are fully prepared for the role.
