All new employees start on the morning shift for the first 6 weeks. Based on performance, a move to the evening shift can be discussed.

Shift times:

• Morning shift: 07:00 – 16:00
• Evening shift: 15:00 – 00:00

Weekend work applies only to the evening shift.

We are looking for an Orderpicker to join the warehouse team of Albert Heijn in Barendrecht, near Rotterdam. In this role, you ensure that online grocery orders are picked correctly and prepared for shipment. As an Orderpicker at Albert Heijn Barendrecht, you are responsible for processing online orders accurately and efficiently. Using a handheld scanner, you collect products, scan barcodes, and make sure every order is complete and correct.

You will work in a temperature‑controlled warehouse to keep products fresh. Teamwork and accuracy are essential in this role.

Main tasks:

• Picking online orders using a handheld scanner
• Scanning and checking products and barcodes
• Checking product quality before shipment
• Organizing and managing stock locations
• Keeping your work area clean and orderly
• Working together with colleagues to meet daily targets

You will work in a 3‑shift system:

• Morning: 06:00 – 14:30
• Afternoon: 14:30 – 23:00
• Night: 23:00 – 06:00

Weekend availability is required.

• You speak the Dutch or English language.
• You are available to work full-time.
• You can work from 09:00 to 17:00 and 18:00 to 02:00.
• You have a car or scooter for transportation.
• You can work in cold or freezer areas.
• You are physically able to lift up to 20 kg.

what will you do
As an Order Picker at Bidfood, you are the driving force behind the supply of our hospitality clients. Your day is full of energy! You will drive an Electric Pallet Truck (EPT) through the warehouse with roll containers attached behind you. A clear voice guides you through the aisles to the exact shelf locations. Simply speak into your microphone to confirm your picks and build complete orders step by step. Staying active in the cooler or freezer sections makes your day fly by!

• Collecting food orders via voice picking.
• Operating an EPT to pick items efficiently.
• Working in refrigerated or freezer rooms.
• Lifting and moving packages up to 20 kg.
