Who you are
As a logistic employee at DPD Meppel you like to get things done. Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following points:
- You are least 18 years old
- You are physically fit and able to carry parcels and work with heavy roll containers (the afternoon is heavy)
- You have your own car to get to location
- You are available for at least 2 days a week for the shift in the afternoon
- You are available for both shifts, or only the afternoon
What will you do
Loading and unloading trucks! This is your main task as a logistic employee at DPD Meppel. You will also sort and scan individual packages. Because the packages are heavy, the work can occasionally be physically demanding. Of course you don't find this a problem. This you will be doing in the following shifts:
- Night shift: Tuesday until Saturday from 2 am to 7:30 am
- Afternoon shifts: Monday until Friday from 4 pm to 9:30 pm
Where will you work
At DPD Meppel you will join an international team. As a logistic employee, you will have no problem speaking English. You might also learn a new language from your colleagues! During your work it is possible to have a chat occasionally. But not for too long of course, because all packages have to be sent out on time! #baanrader

what will you do
At DSV Road Ede, you'll work as a warehouse employee. You will prepare the goods and transport them to the correct location. Thanks to you and your team, the logistics process runs smoothly. You’ll do this using an electric pallet truck (EPT). Whether or not you have experience, that’s no problem. As long as you give it your full 110%!
Your working hours are: 07:30 - 16:00, 16:00 - 23:00, or 21:30 - 06:00. You might be asked to work an alternative shift, such as from 13:00 to 21:30. Between the hours of 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM, you will receive an 8.75% bonus for every hour worked!
