Key Responsibilities - Test, diagnose, and repair electronic and mechanical devices

• Perform repairs and rework following company policies and regulatory standards
• Install and configure software components
• Conduct final functional testing to ensure products meet quality and reliability standards
• Manage inventory transactions and maintain accurate stock records

Additional Responsibilities - Ensure compliance with the company’s quality management system

• Cross-train in different operational processes to support team goals
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment (5S principles)
• Prepare and ship products to customers, including order picking, packaging, recording serial numbers, using shipping systems, completing shipping documents, and confirming shipments
• Disinfect medical equipment according to protocols
• Provide occasional technical support to customers via email
• Assist in planning and delivering technical training to colleagues and customers
• Occasionally help with warehouse related responsibilities to assist the warehouse manager

Requirements

Job Requirements - Preferred Associate Degree in a technical field of study

• Must have a minimum of 1 year experience within a repair environment; preferably in the repair and preventative maintenance of electrical or electro/mechanical devices
• Experience in the medical device industry is a plus
• Proficient, solid understanding of fault isolation techniques for digital and analog circuitry
• Oracle or similar business system experience and skill are desired
• Good communication skills and familiarity MS Office suites
• Ability to lift 30kg with or without accommodations
• Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must be flexible and able to work in a team environment
• Candidates must already live in the Amsterdam region (The Netherlands) and willing to work 100% onsite (hybrid is not possible)
• Candidates must hold a valid working permit, our client does not offer sponsorship

Benefits

• Starting as soon as possible!
• Annual salary of 43K gross, inclusive of the holiday allowance.
• A definite contract 7 months to start.
• Pension (9% of your salary, of which the Employer pays 2/3)
• Working onsite 5 days a week at the warehouse in office in Duivendrecht
• Travel allowance of 0.23cent per km if you go by car, or an NS business card if you use public transport
• Full-time employment, 40 Hours a week
• 27 days of vacations per year – to be prorated the first year based on start date
• Please note: due to the medical sector that the company operates in, all employees must have the Hepatitis B vaccine. The company will cover the costs of the vaccine if you do not currently have one.

*After sales support to dealers across EMEA:

• • E-mail and helpdesk support by using CRM system

• Interact directly with customers to diagnose and solve technical problems in a set time frame
• Analyze and clarify customer requests by researching and troubleshooting the existing knowledgebase
• Inspect cases for technical complexity and advise our customers timely with quality
• Direct support to dealers and distributors by onsite interventions
• Check product documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Communicate with development teams in order to find solutions
• Complete each case by double checking the result, close the case if the issue is fixed and customer is happy.

*Exhibition support

• • Installation, operating and dismantling of machines for exhibitions

• Advising customers about specific applications and supporting sales during the show
• Try to get leads together with our sales team on the booth

*Training

• • Organizing and hosting technical trainings for dealers and distributors

• Monitoring dealer skills and alerting management about technical issues
• Elaborate the knowledge base for internal / external use

*Refurbishing of second hand machines

• • Inspection and repair of returned / used machines for re-sale

• Maintenance of machines located in the showroom
• Inspection and repair of damaged machines

*Warranty check

• • Checking and approving warranty claims from our dealers

• Advising our warranty department about proper warranty terms and conditions

*Sales support

• • Advising and training sales department persons about machine specifications, proper usage and features

• Advising sales when specific applications or machine requirements arise

  *Customer service support

• • Supporting customer service department with questions about delivery conditions and availability of parts

Requirements

*Who are you?

Are you a fresh graduate?
*Education

• • MBO electronics /mechanics or HBO level, gained through work experience

• Fluent written and oral communication skills in English

• Fresh graduates

• More than average IT/ machinery-skills gained through trainings or schooling

  *Work experience

• • 0-1 year experience max.

• Motivation and theoretical thinking are important to become a good (field) engineer in future and to support our customers properly.
• Experience in a similar/ printing industry is strong preferred.
• Experience repairing machineries

Benefits

• This is a long term position - based on full time
• The salary is between EUR 2800,-- and max. EUR 3000,-- per month gross, based on full time. The salary is depending on education, experience and industry background.
• Travelcost will be reimbursed
• The initial contract will be via Undutchables, approx. 6-7 months. If all goes well, it will be extended. The 2nd contract will be with the company.
