At Bidfood there are both part-time and fulltime possibilities as a warehouse employee. If you work part-time you work for 2 to 4 days per week. Rather work fulltime? Then you will work 4 till 5 days per week.

  • Working hours are Monday to Friday: 06:00 – 14:30 and 14:30 – 23:00, Sun: 15:00 – 23:00.

who are you
As a warehouse associate, you must meet the following requirements:

  • you are at least 16 years old
  • you are available this summer between weeks 28 and 35
  • you are available for 24–40 hours per week on a two-shift schedule
  • you are physically fit; lifting and stacking boxes is no problem for you
  • you are available for at least 3 weeks between weeks 28 and 35

what will you do
Curious about what a typical workday looks like? 🕶

You start your shift with your colleagues in the department where you’re scheduled to work that day. After the team leader briefly explains the plan, you get right to work. One moment you’re walking through the warehouse with an scanner to gather the right books, and the next you’re at the packing table, quickly preparing packages for shipment. You’re on the move all day long, so you’ve already got that workout in the bag by the end of your shift! 🏃‍♂️

Between weeks 28 and 35, you’ll work on a flexible shift schedule, which is ideal for your free time. One week, you’ll have the morning shift from 7:00 AM to 2:45 PM, giving you plenty of time for your own plans the rest of the afternoon. The following week, you’ll work the afternoon shift from 3:00 PM to 10:45 PM, giving you the freedom to sleep in or start your day at a leisurely pace in the morning. This way, you can perfectly balance this temporary job with your social life and still have plenty of time for fun activities. 🚀

where will you work
At VanDijk, you’ll be working in the warehouse of one of the largest schoolbook suppliers in the Netherlands. All schoolbooks for high school students are shipped from Kampen.

Who you are
To start as an order picker at Wasco, it is important that you meet the following requirements:

  • You speak English, for safety reasons;
  • You are at least 18 years old, due to driving an EPT;
  • You are at least available to work on Mondays and Fridays (more days are possible);
  • You are available to work in different shifts. The working hours are from 09:00 to 18:00 and 12:00 to 21:00;
  • You have your own transport to get to Apeldoorn;
  • You are physically capable of lifting product weighing at least 20 kilos;
  • You agree that we can not offer a guarantee of hours.

What will you do
In the Wasco distribution center in Apeldoorn you will work as an orderpicker to collect orders. Not just any orders, heavy orders! Nice!! You pick, among other things, toilet bowls, bathtubs, radiators. You will have your summer body in no time! Simply, for free, and while you get paid! From the rack you manually lift the products onto your EPT. This is a small forklift that allows you to drive all over the warehouse. Fun isn't it! You work Monday to Friday, the weekend is for yourself. Your working hours as an orderpicker will be from 09:00 to 18:00 or 15:00 to 00:00.

Where will you work
Wasco is a wholesaler in installation technology. Bathtubs, radiators, sinks… everything! At Wasco we work hard, but we are also not allergic to a joke and fun on the floor! In the afternoon shifts you don't have to worry about your dinner as an orderpicker. You can eat for free from the buffet that is available for employees every evening. Do you like good coffee? We also! Unlimited, free tasty bean coffee during your break! Check!

To be eligible for employment at Wasco, you must be able to provide a Certificate of Conduct (VOG)."
