Dit ga jij doen

Als project engineer tekenaar draag je bij aan het ontwerpen en realiseren van hoogwaardige RVS onderdelen voor luxe jachten. Je combineert technische expertise met creativiteit om railingsystemen en andere outfitting onderdelen te ontwikkelen die zowel functioneel als esthetisch zijn. In deze rol werk je nauw samen met collega’s in een informele sfeer en krijg je de vrijheid om je eigen werk te organiseren. Tegelijkertijd werk je aan uitdagende projecten waarbij je technische tekeningen maakt, berekeningen uitvoert en de voortgang bewaakt.

Wat je gaat doen:

• Ontwerpen: 3D-tekeningen en surface models maken voor railingsystemen en andere jachtonderdelen.
• Berekenen: technische berekeningen uitvoeren om de haalbaarheid en functionaliteit van ontwerpen te waarborgen.
• Plannen: projectplanningen opstellen en bewaken, inclusief het coördineren van project gerelateerde inkopen.
• Ondersteunen: samenwerken met de werkplaats om ervoor te zorgen dat ontwerpen correct worden geproduceerd en geïnstalleerd.
• Verbeteren: bijdragen aan de optimalisatie van processen en ontwerpen binnen de luxe jachtbouw.

Your role

• Support trade-off analyses and engineering decision-making
• Ensure requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle with e.g. IBM Doors

• Lead integration, verification and validation activities
• Identify and communicate system-level risks, assumptions and dependencies

Wat breng jij

• BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering
• 8+ years of engineering experience, including at least 2–3 years in a technical leadership or team lead capacity;
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design and (smart) manufacturing
• Commercial awareness and customer-facing skills
• Based in the Netherlands, preferably in the Rotterdam, Utrecht or Eindhoven region
• Dutch speaking is a strong advantage
• Authorized to work in the Netherlands without the need for visa sponsorship.
