Functie-inhoud

• Je bedient, controleert en bijstuurt de machines op de inpakafdeling.
• Je bewaakt de productkwaliteit en voert kwaliteits- en voedselveiligheidscontroles uit.
• Je verhelpt eerstelijns storingen en voert klein onderhoud uit aan de verpakkingsmachines.
• Je voert schoonmaak- en reinigingswerkzaamheden uit en zorgt dat de werkplek productieklaar is.
• Je rapporteert voortgang en afwijkingen aan de Supervisor en stemt af met collega’s van andere afdelingen om het proces te optimaliseren.
• Je stelt verpakkingsmachines (PLC-gestuurd met HMI) in, voert eenvoudige omstellingen uit, lost mechanische vastlopers op en voert basiscontroles uit als eerste lijn voordat de technische dienst wordt ingeschakeld.

Functie-eisen

• MBO-2 diploma of vergelijkbaar niveau.
• Affiniteit met productieprocessen binnen de maakindustrie.
• Bereidheid om in 5-ploegendienst en in weekenden te werken.
• Ervaring met bedienen van machines of technische affiniteit is een pré.
• Basiskennis van procedures rond kwaliteit en voedselveiligheid.
• Handen uit de mouwen mentaliteit en leergierige houding.
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden.

As an operator, you are responsible for keeping the filling and packaging process running efficiently throughout your shift. You prepare the line, monitor performance and take action when quality or output starts to deviate. In general, your tasks are:

• Preparing machines and production lines before the start of a run.
• Setting and adjusting machine parameters during production.
• Carrying out changeovers when switching products or packaging formats.
• Monitoring output, quality and line performance.
• Performing regular checks on products and packaging.
• Identifying small technical problems and solving them where possible.
• Escalating larger technical issues to the right colleagues.
• Recording production data, checks and deviations correctly.
• Cleaning equipment and keeping the work area safe and organised.
• Coordinating with colleagues during shift changes and production handovers.

Functievereisten:
You do not need experience with these exact products or machines. What matters is that you already understand production work, have some technical feeling and are willing to learn the process properly.

• Experience in a production environment, preferably as an operator or machine operator.
• Technical insight and confidence working with production equipment.
• Experience with machine settings or changeovers is a plus.
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift or 3-shift schedule.
• Accurate working style with attention to quality and safety.
• Able to work independently while cooperating well with a small team.
• Motivated to develop your technical and operational skills further.

Who you are
As a production employee, you are available from Monday till Friday. Furthermore, it is important that:

• You speak English (required for safety within the factory);
• You are 18 years of age or older;
• You are at least 1.65 meters tall (due to the height of the machinery);
• You have your own transport to get to Wijhe;
• You are available for at least 3 days across 2 shifts;
• You live near Wijhe;
• You do not mind working in a cool environment (13–15 degrees Celsius).

What will you do
As a production employee, you will work in a factory where sliced meats are produced. At Stegeman we have a lot of different departments where you can work. You can always give your preference for the department and we will see together what the best place will be for YOU! After you applications I will go through them in depth, but I listed them below!
You will work in the 2 shift, with working hours from 05:15-14:00 & 13:55-22:40.

• After care: Here you are going to make sure that the sausages are handled the correct way. You will be baking the sausages, but also smoking is part of the process. As you can expect the smell at this department is mouth watering!
• Slicing and packaging: This is the last step in the process. You will make sure that the sausages are sliced correct. You also check if the packages are sealed correctly. With your quick thinking, and sharp eyes the line will be running smoothly!
• Transport: As a transport employee, you'll use an EPT to move meats between freezing units and production halls. You'll also do administrative tasks like booking pallets and managing SAP inventory movements.
