Who you are
As a production employee, you are available from Monday till Friday. Furthermore, it is important that:

• You speak English (required for safety within the factory);
• You are 18 years of age or older;
• You are at least 1.65 meters tall (due to the height of the machinery);
• You have your own transport to get to Wijhe;
• You are available for at least 3 days across 2 shifts;
• You live near Wijhe;
• You do not mind working in a cool environment (13–15 degrees Celsius).

What will you do
As a production employee, you will work in a factory where sliced meats are produced. At Stegeman we have a lot of different departments where you can work. You can always give your preference for the department and we will see together what the best place will be for YOU! After you applications I will go through them in depth, but I listed them below!
You will work in the 2 shift, with working hours from 05:15-14:00 & 13:55-22:40.

• After care: Here you are going to make sure that the sausages are handled the correct way. You will be baking the sausages, but also smoking is part of the process. As you can expect the smell at this department is mouth watering!
• Slicing and packaging: This is the last step in the process. You will make sure that the sausages are sliced correct. You also check if the packages are sealed correctly. With your quick thinking, and sharp eyes the line will be running smoothly!
• Transport: As a transport employee, you'll use an EPT to move meats between freezing units and production halls. You'll also do administrative tasks like booking pallets and managing SAP inventory movements.

You'll ensure the meat pieces come together and that the correct blend of spices is added. Look at that—it already looks and smells delicious! In addition, setting up the machines is also part of your job. Hello, varied workdays! 👋 Besides the manual tasks, the meat pieces need to be transported from one production hall to another. You'll work Monday through Friday during the day. This means your evenings and weekends are completely FREE! Enjoy that well-deserved time off!

As a Production Employee, you'll be working at Stegeman in Wijhe. Stegeman produces high-quality processed meats (vleeswaren) that bring happiness to thousands of people in the Netherlands every day!
