Who you are
As a production employee, you are available from Monday till Friday. Furthermore, it is important that:

• You are 18 years or older;
• You have transportation to get to Wijhe;
• You speak Dutch or English.

What will you do
As a production employee, you will work in a factory where sliced meats are produced. At Stegeman we have a lot of different departments where you can work. After you applications I will go through them in depth, but I listed them below!

As a production employee you will work in the 2 shift, with working hours from 05:15-14:00 & 13:55-22:40.

• After care: Here you are going to make sure that the sausages are handled the correct way. You will be baking the sausages, but also smoking is part of the process. As you can expect the smell at this department is mouth watering!
• Slicing and packaging: This is the last step in the process. You will make sure that the sausages are sliced correct. You also check if the packages are sealed correctly. With your quick thinking, and sharp eyes the line will be running smoothly!
• Transport: As a transport employee, you'll use an EPT to move meats between freezing units and production halls. You'll also do administrative tasks like booking pallets and managing SAP inventory movements.

As a Production Employee, you'll be assigned to the Processing department. This is where you prepare the meat before it gets sliced. Your exact task? You'll ensure the meat pieces come together and that the correct blend of spices is added. Look at that—it already looks and smells delicious! In addition, setting up the machines is also part of your job. Hello, varied workdays! 👋 Besides the manual tasks, the meat pieces need to be transported from one production hall to another. Hop onto that EPT and go! 🤩 WOW, not so fast, we can barely keep up with you!

Because you work the day shift, you are the constant factor on the floor and will report alternately to the team leaders of the morning and afternoon shifts.

Where will you work
As a warehouse employee, you will be working for one of the world's largest producers of branded cheeses: Lactalis Leerdammer. You will be based at the production location in Schoonrewoerd, just outside Leerdam. You will get plenty of development opportunities at Leerdammer.
