Who you are

What will you do
As a logistics worker, you’re the indispensable driving force behind the sorting center at Ekkersrijt in Son & Breugel. You’ll start your day fresh between 5:00 and 7:00 a.m. Together with your team, you’ll scan and sort packages by ZIP code at lightning speed. Think of it as a free workout that actually pays you! You’ll make sure everything is perfectly ready for the delivery drivers. Since you’ll be done by around 12:00 PM, you can spend the afternoon doing whatever you want!

You’ll be working at PostNL in Son en Breugel, right on the furniture boulevard (near Ikea). As soon as you walk in, you’ll feel the casual atmosphere! What will you do
Morning work at PostNL is a bit different from the evening shifts, so let me explain! Your day as a logistic employee always starts with a team kick-off. You'll discuss the previous day's numbers and the plan for the day ahead. After this quick chat, you'll dive right in! One group of colleagues will unload the freight, ensuring the other group can quickly get to work feeding the conveyor belt. This means manually placing all the packages onto the belt. It's easy to grasp, but some packages can be heavy, so get ready to flex those muscles! Finally, the packages will travel via the sorting belt to the delivery drivers, who then load their vans and head out to make customers happy! #baanrader

• Please note: You're done when the work is done, so your finish time might even be later than 12h30.

Where will you work
You'll be working at PostNL in Born. The warehouse is located at Holtum-Noordweg 107 and is easily accessible by your own transport. Together with an international team, you'll be making tons of people happy with their package deliveries! It's hard work, but our team leaders regularly provide delicious treats on the work floor as a token of appreciation. Plus, there are plenty of opportunities to grow as a logistic employee! As a warehouse employee, you'll be working with packages! A truck delivers a roll container with boxes. Boxes are placed one by one on the sorting machine. After the machine has done its job, you start sorting. We do this based on the postcode on the label or using a handheld scanner. That way, you refill the roll containers with sorted packages! But beware, packages can weigh a maximum of 25 kilograms. If this is too heavy for you, think it over again! #baanrader

• Working hours from 17:30 to 02:00 hours.
• Working days from Monday to Friday.

You load and unload trucks with an awesome team. Trucks bring large bags of deposit bottles. Together, you slide these bags across the floor. You also get to operate the pressing machine for cardboard, plastic, and food. Finally, you sort crates and packaging to keep everything perfectly neat!

Become a count operator
Ready for an exciting new step? You can learn to be a count operator! You will run the smart counting machine. It automatically sorts bottles and cans by color and material.

How does it work? It is super easy! You grab a bag and remove the label. You empty the bag into the machine. It scans everything for you. Did the machine miss a bottle? No worries at all! It safely falls into a handy bin. You just scan those last few items yourself. Piece of cake!

Working times:

• Morning shift: 06:00 - 15:00
• Evening shift: 15:00 - 00:00
• Night shift: 21:00 - 06:00
