Do you have logistics experience and are you looking for a new challenge? My Jewellery is looking for a full-time Logistics Employee to join our distribution center in Den Bosch.

You’ll work 40 hours per week in a fixed two-shift rotation, alternating weekly between:

• 06:00 AM – 03:00 PM
• 03:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Together with your team, you’ll make sure customer orders are picked, processed, and prepared for shipment accurately and on time.

With a handheld scanner and order cart, you’ll navigate the warehouse and collect the required products. Your accuracy and eye for detail help ensure every order is complete and delivered on time.

Over de vacature

In this role, you will work at the intersection of Finance, Manufacturing and Supply Chain, making sure operational activities are correctly reflected in financial reporting. A key part of your position will be inventory accounting and product costing, while also providing insights that help the business understand financial performance. Support inventory accounting and product costing activities; Execute and monitor SAP Material Ledger processes; Review production order settlements, work in progress (WIP) and manufacturing variances; Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities; Ensure accurate inventory valuation in accordance with applicable accounting standards; Analyze inventory movements, production variances and valuation drivers; Support COGS calculations and inventory-related reporting; Translate manufacturing and supply chain activities into the appropriate financial transactions; Provide Finance and Operations stakeholders with relevant financial insights; Support working capital and inventory optimization initiatives.

Alongside your day-to-day financial responsibilities, you will contribute to improving and standardizing processes across the international organization. You will work with different stakeholders to strengthen financial controls, improve SAP processes and make costing and inventory procedures more efficient and consistent.

Help standardize inventory valuation and product costing processes across different entities and locations; Contribute to SAP improvements, system changes and automation projects ; Identify opportunities to reduce manual activities and improve existing processes; Create and maintain process documentation and training materials; Participate in user acceptance testing for cross-functional system and process changes; Support inventory valuation in accordance with IFRS, local GAAP and relevant tax requirements ; Maintain and further develop internal controls related to inventory; Assist with internal and external audit activities; Handle topics such as inventory reserves, obsolescence, lower-of-cost-or-market considerations and intercompany eliminations; Maintain relevant controlling master data, including periodic allocation cycles.

Initially, part of your focus will be supporting costing activities connected to the company's German operations. In the longer term, your scope will become increasingly international, with a focus on improving and standardizing inventory and costing processes across different locations.

Requirements

For this position, we are looking for someone who brings: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics or a comparable field; At least 3- 5 years of relevant financial accounting experience , with significant exposure to inventory accounting and/or product costing; Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment ; Strong knowledge of inventory valuation and product costing principles; The ability to understand operational manufacturing processes and translate them into financial transactions; Strong SAP knowledge, preferably including FICO, Material Ledger and Product Costing ; Advanced Excel skills; Experience with or knowledge of Power BI is a plus ; Professional fluency in both German (B1/B2) and English , verbally and in writing.

You understand how operational decisions affect financial results and are comfortable explaining these connections to different parts of the business. You take ownership of your work, proactively identify opportunities for improvement and enjoy making processes more efficient. Wie ben jij
Voor de functie van Inventory Controller beheers je de volgende skills:

• Vloeiend in Engels (cruciaal in een internationale omgeving).
• Aantoonbare ervaring als Inventory Controller of Troubleshooter.
• Sterke analytische blik en een obsessie voor perfecte data.

Wat ga je doen
Jouw missie? Een vlekkeloze goederenstroom en 100% voorraadaccuratesse behalen. Samenwerken met andere afdelingen is hierbij dagelijkse kost. Je controleert de voorraad door cycle counts uit te voeren. Vervolgens analyseer je verschillen, onderzoekt en lost alle afwijkingen op. Tegelijkertijd check je de opslag door de bezetting van de opslagcapaciteit. Ook audit je processen; je controleert interne procedures en rapporteert je bevindingen. Ervaring met rijden op interne transportvoertuigen, zoals een reachtruck of combitruck, is een grote pré. In de afwisselende baan, rapporteer je aan de operations manager. 🔎🤝

• Je lost knelpunten op in de goederenstroom, zowel inbound als outbound.
• Je controleert de voorraad door cycle counts uit te voeren.
• Je pakt klachten aan; je maakt klantklachten aan en voert de RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) uit.
