Functieomschrijving
Je komt te werken bij een modern productiebedrijf in de foodsector in de regio Almelo, waar alles draait om kwaliteit, timing en teamwork. Terwijl de meeste mensen slapen, zorg jij ervoor dat verse producten op tijd en netjes bij klanten aankomen.

Jij zit graag achter het stuur, houdt van verantwoordelijkheid en vindt het prettig om zelfstandig te werken. Tegelijk heb je contact met klanten en zorg je dat alles netjes en professioneel wordt afgeleverd. Geen lange internationale ritten, maar overzichtelijke routes binnen Nederland waarbij je gewoon weer op tijd thuis bent.

Wat ga je doen?
Je start je dienst ergens tussen 00:00 en 03:00 uur. In alle rust begin je met het laden van je vrachtwagen, zodat je goed voorbereid op pad gaat. Zie je dat iets niet klopt? Dan los je dat meteen op. Daarna ga je de weg op. Geen files, geen drukte, gewoon rijden en doen waar je goed in bent. Bij klanten lever je de producten netjes af en ben jij het gezicht van het bedrijf. Je maakt even contact, checkt of alles klopt en gaat weer door. Na jouw route kom je terug op locatie en zorg je dat alles klaarstaat voor de volgende dienst. Zo sluit je je werk netjes af en ga je met een goed gevoel naar huis.

Who you are

What will you do
As a delivery driver for Albert Heijn, you are the shopping carrier on wheels! Your working day starts by collecting the key and the route list at the collection desk. The first days, you will ride along with a buddy. You quickly grab some food from the refrigerator. Then it’s time to hit the road! You drive to the right addresses via your navigation. Once you get here, you scan the correct crates with groceries with a handheld scanner. You bring the groceries to the front door. You just need to complete the payment and then you're ready to go! Who you are
As a delivery driver for Albert Heijn, you are physically able to lift heavy crates. You enjoy working at different locations throughout the country if necessary! What you also need to know:

• You can communicate in English or Dutch;
• You are in possession of a driving license B (6 months);
• You are available at least two shifts per week and two Saturdays per month.

What will you do
As a delivery driver for Albert Heijn, you are the shopping carrier on wheels! Your working day starts by collecting the key and the route list at the collection desk. The first days, you will ride along with a buddy. You quickly grab some food from the refrigerator. Then it’s time to hit the road! You drive to the right addresses via your navigation. Once you get here, you scan the correct crates with groceries with a handheld scanner. You bring the groceries to the front door. You just need to complete the payment and then you're ready to go! At the end of the day, you return to the depot. Here, you clean your bus for the next day. Do you have questions about the route? Then you can contact planning & support! :)

Working days: Monday to Sunday.
Working hours: decide for yourself when you work between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
