You’ll be operating from Hoofddorp, and your routes mainly cover North Holland. From Zaanse Schans to the port of Den Helder.
Or you will be based in Amsterdam, managing deliveries within and around the city, including those to customers in the canal-side city center.

What we offerAs a courier for Albert Heijn, you deliver groceries to homes, so you need to be physically fit and able to lift crates weighing up to fifteen kilos. With about twenty-eight stops per day, you’re comfortable getting in and out of the van frequently. You also:
What does a courier at Albert Heijn do? Your day starts at the distribution center in Amersfoort, where you collect your route, van, and supplies. After a quick check of the van and load, you’re on your way. Your navigation is pre-set, saving you time! At each stop, you deliver groceries to the doorstep with a smile. You also collect empty crates and bottles, and handle payments. After your route, you return to the distribution center to unload and briefly discuss the day with a supervisor. That’s it! Your workday is done.
At Albert Heijn, you get plenty of opportunities! Grow quickly into a buddy or supervisor role, and enjoy a pay raise after thirteen weeks. We take care of you as a courier at Albert Heijn. With free lunch and fruit during your route. Sometimes, extras like a food truck or small gifts are provided!
You’re never on your own. Planning and support are there to help with any issues during your route. Plus, you can always talk to the Tempo-Team, the supervisor, or the team leader before or after your shift.
After 13 weeks of work, your salary increases to €18,65 per hour! This includes 25 vacation days, holiday pay, ADV allowance, and a year-end bonus. There are also plenty of opportunities for growth. Who knows, in a year, you might be training your new colleagues!
