Wat ga je doen?

Do you enjoy being on the road and taking initiative? As a Category C Driver, you ensure that HoReCa customers in and around Amsterdam receive their orders on time. You drive a fixed route, deliver goods carefully, and act as the main point of contact for the customer.
As a Category C Driver, your working day starts at the company location in Amsterdam. You check your truck, load the goods due orders, and then set off independently. You deliver food and non-food products to restaurants, cafés, hotels, and other hospitality businesses. Most of these customers are located within the Amsterdam ring A10.
Your responsibilities include:

• Loading and checking the truck;
• Delivering orders to hospitality customers;
• Unloading roll containers, crates, and other goods;
• Checking deliveries and completing the necessary administration;
• Maintaining customer contact during deliveries;
• Ensuring that the truck remains clean, tidy, and safe.

The position of Category C Driver is a full-time job. Working days are from Monday to Friday, with Saturdays twice a month as well (in these cases, you will have one weekday off). Working hours are from 05:00/06:00 until 14:00.

Wat vragen wij?

• Category C driving licence with a valid Code 95 qualification;
• Good command of the Dutch or English language;
• You are physically fit and have no problem unloading heavy products;
• You work accurately and have a customer-friendly attitude;
• You are able to work independently;
• You are able to apply for a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct).

Who you are
As a service-oriented truck driver, you have:

• Category C driving license, Code 95, and a digital driver card
• Experience with/ability to operate an EPT (electric pallet truck), truck-mounted forklift (Kooiaap), and hand trolley
• An independent and customer-friendly attitude
• Good physical condition

What will you do
As a Category C Truck Driver at Melis Logistics, your workday starts at 06:00 AM with a nice cup of coffee. After that, you set off with a rigid truck to deliver doors to private customers. To do this, you have a truck-mounted forklift (Kooiaap) and an electric pallet truck (EPT) at your disposal, allowing you to move the doors easily.

You will drive across the country for your deliveries. In addition to transport duties, you are also responsible for properly handling the accompanying paperwork. You are the face of the company, so you shouldn't be afraid to strike up a conversation.

After delivering all orders neatly, your workday ends around 06:00 PM (18:00).

Have you held your Category B driver's license for at least 6 months, love the freedom of the open road, and want to earn great money? We are looking for enthusiastic Delivery Drivers for the distribution center in the Roosendaal region (Oud Gastel)! Step into your box truck, turn on your favorite tunes, and make customers happy every day by delivering their groceries right to their doorstep. An active job with plenty of flexibility and a top-tier salary!

What we offer

• €16.77 up to €18.83 per hour!
• Options to work between 12 and 32 hours per week
• Morning or evening shifts
• Opportunities to obtain your Category C license

Who you are
You are an enthusiastic driver who enjoys heading out on the road independently in a box truck. You are physically fit (lifting grocery crates weighing up to 22 kg is a great workout for you!), and your smile makes you the friendly face of the company at every front door.

• You have held your Category B driver's license for at least 6 months
• You speak fluent Dutch or English
• You have your own means of transportation to get to the starting location in Oud Gastel / Roosendaal region (difficult to reach by public transport)
• You are physically capable of lifting crates up to 22 kg and walking up stairs
• You are flexible and comfortable being called in on short notice (on the day itself: in the morning for the afternoon/evening shift, or in the afternoon for the next morning shift)

What will you do
As a Category B Delivery Driver, you will navigate smoothly through the region in a box truck. Shifts average between 6 and 6.5 hours. A typical workday looks like this:

• You start your shift at the depot in Oud Gastel, pick up your keys, and load the crates into your box truck
• You follow the navigation system to safely drive to customer addresses
• At the customer's location, you carry the grocery crates directly to the front door (or even inside to the kitchen!)
• You scan the order, process the payment using the handheld scanner, and collect any empty crates
• Your service and friendly attitude make for a positive customer experience, after which you return the vehicle in clean condition at the end of your route

Where will you work
You will be working for a leading e-commerce player in the e-grocery sector. The distribution center in Oud Gastel features a warm, informal work atmosphere with a down-to-earth local work ethic. Communication channels are short, colleagues readily assist one another, and there is always time for a laugh. Deliveries run during 13 shifts per week (with Sunday morning being the only exception!). Additionally, you can easily grow within the company or even obtain your heavy vehicle driver's license (Category C) free of charge!
