Pfizer is seeking a senior leader in AI & Data Science to build and lead a best-in-class team focused on AI accelerators within commercial analytics. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in ML/LLM/Agentic with a strong consulting and product management background.
Reporting to the International Business Aligned Data Science lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of data scientists across multiple markets ensuring best in class methodologies and deliverables across the entire data journey from Descriptive to Predictive analytics.
As a Director of Data Science, you will lead a team of up to 8 members. Your responsibilities include managing the in-market demand intake, prioritization, and delivery for anchor markets. Additionally, you will shape and drive Native AI CFC capabilities for International clusters/markets.
You will collaborate cross-functionally to empower agentic AI led decision-making, accelerate business transformation, and deliver measurable business impact.

This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, data, and AI, and is responsible for defining what to build and why, ensuring the accelerators delivers measurable business value across markets and use cases.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is accountable for delivering data science driven insights & solutions and will partner with senior functional leads for across Commercial analytics to develop and implement models, insights, and data products that drive brands’ strategic priorities.
• You are a top-tier data scientist and product manager with experience in leading teams, organizing analytical processes and workflows, and mentoring/developing the managers what work on your team as well as junior team members.
• You are a hands-on AI/ML leader who has demonstrated the ability to hire, build and develop high performing teams to meet the needs of a highly dynamic and complex business.
• You have a passion for applied empirical analytics and answering hard questions with data, and the demonstrated ability to conceptualize, promote and implement business insights.
• You have the ability to use advanced machine learning techniques for driving highly applied analyses and tools to directly drive revenue and optimize resources.
• You have experience building and leading enterprise team to develop end-to-end ML/AL solutions and application at large scale in the Cloud.
• Have a strong passion for conceptualizing, documenting and deploying complex analytical plans to take on business problems.
• Confirmed collaboration, executive communication and storytelling skills with ability to adapt and connect across a variety of audiences. This includes strong writing, and data visualization skills with the ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner to senior executives.
• Be a self-starter, driven, accountable and a high-energy leader.
• Background in healthcare, Pharma, or health payments analytics experience highly preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Experience:
• Strong proven experience in Product Management / Product Ownership, preferably in data, analytics, or AI-driven products
• Strong experience working with cross-functional teams (business + tech + data)
• Proven track record of delivering complex, enterprise-grade platforms
• Experience in commercial analytics, pharma, or healthcare is highly preferred
• Familiarity with AI/ML or GenAI/Agentic systems is a strong plus

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Python and/or R, with solid understanding of advanced statistics
• Strong hands-on experience in ML/LLM/Agentic platform development & deployment
Knowledge of API, MCP, cloud environments and data engineering workflows
• Agentic Workflows ( multi step reasoning, reinforcement, Eval etc )

Business & Domain Skills:
• Proven ability to translate data insights into commercial recommendations
• Understanding of marketing intelligence, third party pharma data, media planning, budget optimization
• Knowledge of pharma markets, HCP/DTP promotion strategy, and compliance
• Ability to partner with marketing, finance, brand teams to influence decisions
• Experience presenting to C-suite and senior leadership

Wat ga je doen als Senior Adviseur Vergunningen?

Als senior adviseur ben je de inhoudelijke expert op het gebied van vergunningen voor complexe infraprojecten binnen de drinkwaterinfrastructuur. Je draagt actief bij aan het verkrijgen en behouden van de benodigde vergunningen en toestemmingen, onder meer op het gebied van natuur, milieu, water en omgevingswetgeving. Jouw werkzaamheden omvatten:

• Adviseren van projectteams over vergunningstrajecten en publiekrechtelijke toestemmingen;
• Coördineren en begeleiden van vergunningprocedures onder de Omgevingswet, van aanvraag tot besluit;
• Toetsen van ontwerp- en projectplannen op juridische haalbaarheid en vergunningseisen;
• Signaleren van juridische risico’s en vertalen naar praktische adviezen en beheersmaatregelen;
• Onderhouden van contacten met bevoegde instanties zoals gemeenten, provincies en waterschappen;
• Bijdragen aan kennisdeling, procesverbetering en de verdere ontwikkeling van het vergunningenloket.

Wat breng jij mee?

• Een hbo- of wo-opleiding, bij voorkeur in bestuursrecht, omgevingsrecht, milieurecht of een vergelijkbare richting;
• Minimaal 5 tot 7 jaar ervaring in een vergunningen- of juridische adviesrol binnen infrastructurele projecten of de overheid;
• Diepgaande kennis van de Omgevingswet en relevante wet- en regelgeving;
• Ervaring met complexe vergunningprocedures en bestuurlijke besluitvorming;
• Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en bestuurlijke sensitiviteit;
• Een zelfstandige en proactieve werkhouding, met het vermogen belangen zorgvuldig af te wegen in een complexe omgeving.
