As a Production Operator your main responsibility is to manufacture high-quality plastic windows and doors. These products are used in motorhomes, caravans, and supermarket refrigerators. The factory consists of several departments, each with different processing steps. Your tasks may include:

• Removing protective film from acrylic sheets and blowing off fine dust particles using antistatic air
• Heating the sheets and shaping them using a press machine
• Milling and sawing
• Drilling, screwing, and assembling frame windows
• Sealing drainage profiles on the frame windows
• Installing rubber linings on the windows
• Performing quality control and minor repairs

You will mainly work from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts. Depending on the department, you will work in a 2-shift or 3-shift system, with the following working hours:

• 06:30 AM – 03:00 PM
• 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• 11:30 PM – 06:30 AM

As a Production Worker, you are an important part of the production process. You will work on one of the production lines and ensure that everything runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. What does your work involve?

The production department consists of 8 production lines. On each line, you will work together with 4 colleagues:

• 1 colleague at the end of the conveyor belt, responsible for product inspection and removal.
• 3 colleagues working with the moulds, operating machines and filling the moulds.

What will you be doing?

• Starting, operating, and monitoring the production line.
• Working with moulds and supporting the production process.
• Monitoring the quality of concrete products.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Contributing ideas for improvements to the production process.

How physically demanding is the work?

The work is generally not physically demanding. The most physical part involves shovelling concrete back when it falls beside the moulds. However, when the machines are properly adjusted, this rarely happens.

Functie-inhoud

• Je voert veilig en efficiënt de productieprocessen uit als Productieoperator.
• Je zorgt voor het aan- en afvoeren van grondstoffen en materialen voor het productieproces.
• Je bedient en stelt bereidingsketels, machines en installaties in.
• Je legt nauwkeurig batchcodes vast en documenteert processen schriftelijk.
• Je vult, etiketteert en controleert eindproducten.

• Je werkt op de productielocatie in Heijningen met circa 80 medewerkers, single-site, 3 productie-installaties en 2 tot 3 operators per dienst; productie is grotendeels batchgewijs met enkele semi-continuïte processen.
• Je hebt technische verantwoordelijkheid voor procesmonitoring, instellen en aanpassen van parameters, eerste lijn storingsanalyse en zelfstandig verhelpen van eenvoudige storingen; je escalatie naar technische dienst of ploegleider bij complexere problemen.
• Je voert first-line onderhoud uit zoals smeren, schoonmaken en stellen.
• Je werkt met PLC/SCADA voor receptinstelling en procesbewaking; aanwezige apparatuur: reactorvaten, menginstallaties, pompen, transportbanden en afvulinstallaties; je voert visuele controles, temperatuur- en drukmetingen en monstername voor laboratoriumanalyse uit.
