In this role, you will collect and prepare customer orders using a handheld scanner and an Electric Pallet Truck (EPT). You’ll be working in a warehouse that stores alcoholic beverages, where accuracy, efficiency, and safety are essential. Your daily tasks include order picking, moving pallets, checking incoming goods, replenishing stock, and preparing products for shipment. As some cartons and cases can be heavy, this position requires good physical fitness and a proactive attitude. Together with your colleagues, you’ll help ensure smooth warehouse operations and on-time deliveries.

You will work full-time on day shifts from 07:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday. After approximately 6 weeks, there is also the opportunity to work evening shifts, offering additional flexibility and the chance to gain more experience within the warehouse operation. Overtime opportunities may be available during busy periods.

Who you are
As a warehouse employee you are looking for a job for a longer period of time. In addition, it is important that you meet the following requirements:

• You are 18 years or older
• You are available to work in at least two shifts: 06:00-15:00 and 15:00-00:00 and if you want also in the night: 21:00-6:00 (weekly rotating shifts)
• You can work 5 days in the week and every Friday and Saturday (mandatory days)
• You are available to work for a minimum of 6 months!
• You are physically fit to lift up to 20 kilos
• You are in possession of your own transportation to travel to Pijnacker

What will you do
After everyone has been briefly briefed, the working day can begin! As a warehouse employee you will process the returns of the Albert Heijn. These are mainly plastic bottles, packages and empty cans that have a deposit. They bottles arrive in large plastic bags of 15 kilos each. These will be replaced from the trucks and taken to the counting machines. Before they enter the counting machine, the labels of the bottles are scanned. This allows the machine to know how many bottles and cans have been returned per company. Everything is counted in the counting machine, emptied and the dirt is removed from the bottles. They are also sorted by white, colorful and other. Also you will also be loading and unloading trucks. You and your colleagues will ensure that all carts end up in the right place. You will be working with an EPT to drive pallets to the right place into the warehouse.

• 11 different departments

As a warehouse employee you will be properly trained. You will have a buddy who will teach you all the tips & tricks. Your development is tracked in a passport. Wat ga je doen
Nadat iedereen kort is gebrieft, kan de werkdag beginnen! Samen met jouw collega’s ga jij ervoor zorgen dat alle retouren van Albert Heijn verwerkt worden in het magazijn. Dit zijn verschillende producten, denk aan: plastic- en kartonnen verpakkingen die de supermarkt terugstuurt, en ook de statiegeldflessen en bierkratten die ingeleverd worden. Kortom, genoeg te doen! Als logistiek medewerker heb jij een afwisselende baan! Naast dat jij je bezighoudt met het laden en lossen van de vrachtwagens, zorg jij er samen met jouw collega’s ook voor dat alle karren op de juiste plaats terechtkomen. #teamwork! In jouw eerste week als logistiek medewerker krijg jij een buddy, iemand die jou alle ins and outs laat zien in het magazijn. Hierdoor ken jij in no-time het hele magazijn op je duimpje!
