In the maintenance department, where the temperature is constantly around 14 degrees celsius, you, as a logistics employee seasonal work, are responsible for moving pallets of cheeses. You do this using an EPT (Elemental Posting Machine). You ensure that the production lines are supplied with cheeses that require maintenance, such as applying a protective coating or turning the cheese. This process is fully automated using modern machinery. During your work, you use a WMS screen on your EPT. This displays the tasks you need to perform and confirms when an order is ready. The work is light physically, as you will primarily be driving and operating systems.

  • You will work in a refrigerated area (approx. 14°C) where you will collect and move various types of cheese.
  • You will ensure that the production lines are continuously supplied with cheeses that need to be processed (machine turning and coating);
  • Experience with an EPT is a plus, but not required.

Velder has 4 million kilos of cheese, primarily whole Dutch cheeses. Velder in Bodegraven takes good care of its employees and offers a pleasant work environment. When you start, you will receive a jacket, hat, turtleneck, and gloves. Randstad will provide you with a pair of work shoes. There is also a locker available in the changing room and you will receive an access badge. On your first day as a logistics employee for seasonal work, you will get one-on-one guidance.

Who you are

As a logistic employee it is important that you meet the following requirements:

  • You are available full-time from Monday to Friday
  • You have your own transportation or can get easily in Scherpenzeel
  • You are flexible to work in shifts: 7:00-15:00, 8:30-17:00, 15:00-23:0 and 23:00-7:00
What will you do

Checked or striped. Black or white. High pile or low pile. Lying or flying. Any idea what it's about? Carpet of course! Interface is the carpet manufacturer. How cool is that!? As a logistic employee, you are responsible for preparing carpet tiles for shipment. You will pick up the orders from the warehouse and pack them. After that you process the order in the computer. Order completed? Then you process this in the computer. During the day you walk a lot as a logistic employee and sometimes lift carpets of 20 kilos. So you will be very fit!

Where will you work

As a logistic employee at Interface, you and your colleagues ensure that hundreds of orders are delivered to the customer on time every day. Sounds like a challenge? It is! what will you do

what will you do

As a Support Employee, you are a crucial link in the logistics process. You ensure that all shipments cross the border smoothly and correctly. You have a wide range of tasks, consisting of drafting and processing various customs forms and documents and registering shipments in different systems.

Checking and correcting feedback is also part of the day-to-day tasks. You will also provide information to national and international colleagues and depots. You deal with the data you get through warehouse scanning. Of course, this also includes checking and registering dangerous goods shipments, along with drafting various reports for management.

  • You'll be working in 2 shifts (1:45 PM - 10:15 PM and 9:45 PM - 6:15 AM). In consultation, 3 shifts are also possible, in which case you will work the following times: 9:45 PM - 6:15 AM, 1:45 PM - 10:15 PM, and the morning shift is 5:45 AM - 2:15 PM.
  • Allowances are 20% from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and 30% from 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM.

FedEx is an international company for shipping packages. Weekly, FedEx transports 4.4 million packages, documents, and freight to 200 countries. Here, trucks are unloaded and packages are sorted. The packages are then loaded into the trucks.
