Who you are
You are full of energy, and as a warehouse packer, you also meet the following:

What will you do
At LCG, we produce glassware for clients like IKEA. As a warehouse packer, you will be working in the distribution center. There is a written instruction manual showing you exactly how to pack the glasses. Next, you pack them into boxes and stack them onto pallets. Easy peasy! You will have your own workspace at a standing desk, surrounded by friendly colleagues to chat with. Your day will fly by!

Where will you work
LCG is a well-known glassware manufacturer. The factory is located in Leerdam, and the distribution center is in Gorinchem. As a warehouse packer, you will become part of an international team! what will you do
You will work as an order picker or packer in this automated warehouse. As an order picker you will work at your 'order picking station'. About 200 order picking robots are going around in this warehouse. The robot picks a box for you from the racks, brings it to your order pick station, then you pick the number of products from the box that you need! The robot goes back to the picking location and the next robot is already waiting for you with a new box! Order complete? Then you press a button and the conveyor belt brings the box to the packers. As a packer you check the order, add the packing slip and put the right address sticker on the box. Ready for shipment!

The warehouse consists of two separate halls that are next to each other. Both halls together process the orders of approximately 30 different customers including Cisco and Wahoo.

Will you ensure that Ikea receives a new shipment of drinking glasses? The glasses are produced at the factory in Leerdam. They are then transported to the warehouse in Gorinchem. As a packing employee you are the one who packs the glasses into boxes using special instructions. You then stack them neatly on pallets. This way, the glasses are ready for your colleague on the forklift to pick them up. And thanks to your fast work, we can send them to IKEA on time. Now that's teamwork!
