Who you are
As a warehouse employee you're ready to make sure that the parcels reach our clients as soon as possible. Next to that:

  • You have your own transport to come to PostNL in Venlo.
  • You are available for a minimum of three days.
  • You are able to lift parcels up to 20 kg.
  • You speak English and/or Dutch
  • You are available in the morning shifts from 07:30
  • You have not planned a holiday on Mondays in June, July, and August.

What will you do
Your main task will be about sorting packages. You’ll work very precisely and at a steady pace to make sure every parcel ends up at the right address. The sorting machine does the first part of the job by sorting packages by region. You’ll then place the parcels into the correct roll container based on the postal codes. Sounds easy right? But do you see the difference between 6696 and 6966 in a split-second? Perfect, then you are made for this job as a warehouse employee! If you need any help then there’s always a co-worker or team leader nearby. Together you are stronger!

  • Working hours: between 07h30 and 14h30 (ending of the shift can differ)
  • Workdays: Monday to Saturday

Where will you work
You’ll be working with your colleagues in one of PostNL’s largest sorting centers, located at Popeweg 66 in Venlo. It’s easy to reach by car or bicycle. Public transport is not possible. Every day a group of warehouse employees make sure that the parcels are being processed correctly. There are a lot of different nationalities, so the language will be mainly English. During your break you can enjoy the free tea, coffee or warm chocolate milk with your colleagues!

who are you
As a warehouse employee at Bidfood, you recognize yourself in the following.

  • You speak good Dutch or English
  • You are available at least 3 days a week
  • You can work in two shifts (06:00-15:00 and 15:00-00:00)

what will you do
As a warehouse employee you collect orders using the voice picking system. You place the products in roll containers and take them to the loading point. No experience with voice picking is needed. You will learn it during the 4-week training period. You must be able to deal with physically demanding work, with a lifting limit of 25 kg. During the training period, you might work only the morning shift.

  • As an order picker, you are in charge of collecting orders in the warehouse. You do this using instructions via the voice picking system.
  • After collecting the products, you place them in roll containers and transport them to the loading point. In this way the team members can send the orders to the correct customer.
  • The job requires physical strength, as you need to lift boxes and crates weighing up to 25 kg.

Bidfood is the online wholesale catering company of the Netherlands. As a warehouse employee at Bidfood, you will contribute to delivering high-quality products to your favorite restaurants. In the warehouse, products are kept around 7 degrees Celsius. Here they offer a pleasant working environment in a refrigerated setting.
