Who you are
You are an energetic Warehouse Employee who loves to stay active. Since the work can be physically demanding, you see every shift as a free gym session! 💪 You work accurately and enjoy being part of a team that gets things done. Further, you meet the following points:

  • You are available for at least 3 days a week

What will you do
As a Warehouse Employee, you are the heart of our logistics process. You start by unloading trucks full of packages. You make sure everything is moved onto the sorting belts smoothly. 📦 You scan the parcels so they head to the right destination. Lifting packages up to 23 kg keeps you fit while you earn money! It's productive work that gives you a real sense of achievement at the end of the day!

what will you do
So what does a typical workday look like for a warehouse associate at VanDijk in Kampen? The shift starts with the team. The team leader goes over the plan for the day. One day, you might be working at the packing table, preparing packages for shipment. The next day, you might need a handheld scanner to gather the right books in the warehouse. There’s plenty of movement all day long. So that workout is already in the bag by the end of the day!

The work is done in a two-shift system. One week there’s a morning shift from 7:00 AM to 2:45 PM. After that, there’s plenty of time for your own plans in the afternoon. The following week, there’s an afternoon shift from 3:00 PM to 10:45 PM. This makes this temporary job perfect for balancing with a social life. And there’s plenty of time left over for fun things! 🚀

where will you work
At VanDijk, you’ll be working in the warehouse of one of the largest schoolbook suppliers in the Netherlands. All schoolbooks for high school students are shipped from Kampen.

There’s a large terrace where you can relax in the sun during your break. There’s also a cafeteria with delicious sandwiches. Transportation? Taken care of! A free bus runs to and from Kampen. And the best part is that you’ll get to meet lots of new people along the way!

Between weeks 28 and 35, you’ll work on a flexible shift schedule, which is ideal for your free time. One week, you’ll have the morning shift from 7:00 AM to 2:45 PM, giving you plenty of time for your own plans the rest of the afternoon. The following week, you’ll work the afternoon shift from 3:00 PM to 10:45 PM, giving you the freedom to sleep in or start your day at a leisurely pace in the morning. This way, you can perfectly balance this temporary job with your social life and still have plenty of time for fun activities. 🚀
