What will you do

When you start working as a warehouse employee in the evening, you don't sit still for a second. You're always busy! For example, you will be involved in loading and unloading products, scanning and sorting packages and processing incoming and outgoing goods. A job with different activities! There are plenty of opportunities and challenges. Be sure to discover which growth paths are available for you! You work from Monday to Friday from 5:30 PM to 2:00 AM. So you have plenty of time for yourself during the day!

Who you are

What will you do

But what exactly does a warehouse employee do? At PostNL SKP in Nieuwegein, there are 2 departments where you will work in rotation. In the SKP department, mainly work with smaller parcels. You will put all these parcels on the conveyor belt or help the robots sort packages. Then they also have the NMG department. In this department, all parcels that are too large for the sorting machine are sorted. This can be anything and everything. For example a lamp, a car tire, or maybe a mirror for the neighbor. Together with your colleagues, you make sure that these parcels are brought up, scanned, and put back in the right roll container. This way the package can be delivered to the customer on time! All our colleagues can speak Dutch or English, so maybe you will learn a word or two!

  • working days from Sunday till Friday.
  • working hours between 15:00 to 08:00 o'clock.
Where will you work

The sorting center of PostNL Nieuwegein SKP is located at the industrial area Plettenburg-De Wiers Zuid. PostNL SKP is slightly different from the other PostNL locations. At PostNL SKP they mainly process small parcels. These parcels are picked up by you or your colleagues. But are then sorted by all the robots. Very cool to see!

Where will you work

You’ll be working with your colleagues in one of PostNL’s largest sorting centers, located at Popeweg 66 in Venlo. It’s easy to reach by car or bicycle. Public transport is not possible. Every day a group of warehouse employees make sure that the parcels are being processed correctly. There are a lot of different nationalities, so the language will be mainly English.
