As a truck driver for this company, you will supply the supermarkets of Jumbo with bread. That is why you will start driving during the night, to make sure you deliver the products in time. You might have seen the crates at bakeries in the supermarket. The crates are stacked on top of each other with wheels underneath. When loading the truck, these crates are easy to roll into the truck. The bread is also very light, so this will not take much effort. After you are done with loading all the bread, you need to check if you didn't miss anything and then you can start the route.
Since you are working during the nights, you need to be able to work independently. When arriving at the supermarkets, there will not always be employees. Of course there will be employees at your last stops in the morning. Sometimes there will be some good that you have to take back with you.
Supermarkets are open 7 days a week, so you will have the possibility to work in the weekend too. Ofcourse you will only work 5 days a week.
This bakery started off as a small family business and grew to a large supplier for supermarkets. Daily they will deliver from different locations in the Netherlands to 2000 different stores. Besides the location in Terneuzen, they have 18 other bakeries.
