• Diagnostics and repair of faults in machines and control systems
• Installation and commissioning of assemblies and systems
• Monitoring compliance with safety and quality standards
• Documenting the work performed

Your profile - Completed training as a mechanic, mechatronics engineer or similar qualification

• Work experience in mechanical or plant engineering
• Good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Able to work in a team as well as independently
• Willingness to travel for business

who are you
As a repair & maintenance technician you feel right at home both on the forklift and with tools in your hands. You fit the following profile:

• You have a VMBO+ or MBO level of working and thinking
• You hold valid certificates for a forklift, reach truck, EPT, and stacker
• You work accurately, are attentive, and enjoy contributing to a good team atmosphere
• You communicate effortlessly in Dutch or English
• You are physically fit and love being active

what will you do
In the role of repair & maintenance technician at HQ Pack, you are responsible for the flow of goods. In addition, you are also responsible for repairing returned packaging modules. These are your main responsibilities:

• Repair work: Independently repair technical defects and damages based on clear work instructions.
• Internal logistics: Safely move materials through the warehouse using the forklift or reach truck and register the processing.
• Safety: Responsibly use tools and internal transport equipment, and strictly observe safety guidelines and dress codes (PPE) at all times.

The team at HQ Pack in Eindhoven has an international background, which is why the primary language on the shop floor is English. A fantastic place to further develop both your logistical and technical talents! At HQ Pack, you will work in 2 shifts: 06:00–15:00 and 15:00–00:00. As a repair & maintenance technician, it is important that you are available to work in both shifts.

who are you
With your helpful, collegial, and service-oriented attitude, you are a true asset to the workshop. You are naturally curious, solution-oriented, and tackle technical challenges with great enthusiasm. You are proactive and eager to learn.

• A completed MBO level 2 qualification (preferably in a technical direction);
• Demonstrable technical work experience;
• In possession of a VCA certificate (basic safety) or willing to obtain it;
• In possession of your own transportation.

what will you do
Depending on your preference and technical expertise, you will work in a specific role. Every day, you make sure that trains can continue to run safely. Every workday is different. We match your talents with the right open position:

• Cooling Technician: Maintain and repair climate control and cooling systems on trains (F-gas category 1 certificate required);
• Mechanical Technician: Perform mechanical maintenance on bogies, wheels, and couplings;
• Pneumatics Technician: Work on compressed air systems such as brakes and door mechanisms;
• Electrical Technician: Troubleshoot electrical faults and replace defective components;
• Maintenance & Repair (TD) Technician: Maintain and repair machinery and installations within the workshop itself.
