What will you do
Your day is full of action! You will assemble painted truck cabin parts by hand or with tools. This means you learn valuable technical skills while seeing the direct results of your hard work! You also handle order picking and moving parts around. This is your daily workout during work, so you can easily skip the gym tonight! You work in a tight-knit team of six to twelve people. You will always have friendly colleagues around to make the workday fly by!

Do you like working in a production environment? Are you detail oriented and precise, but also able to lift heavy stuff from time to time? Then you may be the production worker we are looking for!
LKQ Van Esch is looking for a full time production employee. At LKQ you will help produce paints for some of the most famous car brands.

• you are able to see color clearly

what will you do
As a production worker at LKQ Van Esch, you are responsible for mixing the right color paint for different car parts. You do this by following a recipe that tells you how many grams of pigments to add to the paint. So it's important you are precise and reliable! When the pigments are all in, you put the can of paint in the mixer. Watch out: these cans can be heavy! But of course you don't have to lift them all day long. After the mixing, you check if the color came out correctly. Then you and your colleagues move on to the next color, with a different recipe. LKQ mixes 300.000 litres of paint a year, so there is never a dull moment!

what will you do
Around 5:45, the day begins at Scania.
By 6:00, the team discusses which trucks are on the line and any special ones to watch for. The assembly line starts, and you’ve got 5 minutes to complete your task. Finished early? Jump in and help your teammates!

• no experience? Doesn't matter! During the first 4 days, you will receive training from the Scania academy.
• together with the team you will build a Scania truck!

This is the largest Scania truck factory in the world – where the most trucks are built and shipped to over 100 countries worldwide.

Good to know: Scania has a company closure during the summer from week 29 until week 32 (July 13th until August 7th). It is only possible to start working after the company closure.

• at the factory you will work in two shifts
• the morning shift starts at 06.00 and ends 14.00
• the evening shift start at 14.00 and ends 22.30
