who are you
For this role, Lidl is looking for experienced warehouse employees who identify themselves in the following:

• You speak fluent Dutch or English.
• You have your own transport (car, scooter or bike) to get to the distribution center.
• You have experience working in an similar environment of around -24 °C.
• You are available on weekdays from 07:30 to 16:30.
• You are willing to work on Saturdays.

what will you do
As an order picker in Lidl's freezer warehouse, you ensure that all products are ready for the stores on time. You collect the orders and ensure that everything is neatly prepared for transport on time.

• Collecting orders using a voice system.
• Checking goods for quality and quantity.
• Operating an electric pallet truck (EPT).
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace.

where will you work
You will be working at Lidl's modern distribution center in Almere. A dynamic work environment where collaboration with your team and quality come first. Thanks to your efforts, customers throughout the country can count on fresh products every day. Travel allowance of €5.69 per day for distances exceeding 20 km.

Become a order picker at Bidfood in Poeldijk! In the evening shift (16:00 – 00:00/01:00), you'll work full-time in a friendly team. Using voice picking, you'll collect orders across different temperatures (ranging from 18 degrees to -24 degrees). It's physically challenging work, but in return, you get € 24.12 per hour incl. shift allowances.

who are you
To keep the warehouse running, it is important that you, as an order picker, meet the following requirements:

• You speak Dutch or English
• You have your own transport
• You are willing to work in Poeldijk
• You are available from Sunday to Friday
• You are willing to work from 16:00 to 01:00
• You are physically capable of lifting boxes weighing up to 25 kg if necessary
• You are available immediately

what will you do
You start your workday in a brand-new, modern warehouse. After changing and clocking in, you step straight onto the work floor with energy as an order picker. Equipped with an EPT and a smart voice picking system, you effortlessly collect the right orders. In doing so, you easily switch between different zones: from the dry dock (18 degrees) and the cooling (4 degrees) to the real cold in the freezer (-24 degrees). In between, you fully recharge during a break in the spacious, neat canteen. Your shift usually ends around 01:00. Is it extra busy or do the operations run slightly over time? No problem, those extra minutes will, of course, just be neatly paid out to you!

• You collect the right products using a modern voice-picking system (voice-controlled)
• You move quickly and safely through the warehouse on an EPT
• A physically challenging job that makes your gym membership completely unnecessary
• Working in the cold store: You keep a cool head and ensure that fresh products stay at the right temperature
• Braving the freezer: You don't shrink away from real cold and work (dressed in a warm thermal outfit, of course) inside the freezer zone

where will you work
Bidfood is a leading wholesaler in the foodservice industry. The company supplies fresh products, among other things. Currently, Bidfood has 16 branches spread across the Netherlands and a team of 1,700 employees. They serve no fewer than 25,000 diverse customers in the Netherlands.

• The hourly rate is based on a gross wage of €15.20 per hour, excluding surcharges. This applies if you are 21 or older; youth rates apply if you are under 21
• Standard surcharges: 00:00 – 04:00: 50% extra; 04:00 – 06:00: 25%; 19:00 – 22:00: 25%; and 22:00 – 00:00: 50%. Saturdays: between 50% and 100%; Sundays (00:00 – 22:00): 100% extra
• Cold-work surcharges: Between 0 and 4 degrees Celsius: €0.58 gross per hour worked. Between 0 and -24 degrees Celsius: €1.32 gross per hour worked

what will you do
As a warehouse employee you collect orders using the voice picking system. You place the products in roll containers and take them to the loading point. No experience with voice picking is needed. You will learn it during the 4-week training period. You must be able to deal with physically demanding work, with a lifting limit of 25 kg. During the training period, you might work only the morning shift.

where will you work
Bidfood is the online catering wholesaler of the Netherlands. As a warehouse employee at Bidfood, you contribute to delivering high-quality products to your favorite restaurants. Products are kept in the warehouse where the temperature is around 4 degrees Celsius. Here, they offer a pleasant working environment in a refrigerated setting. What do you earn?
Your starting salary is € 14.98 per hour. But with allowances, that can add up considerably:
After 19:00: € 18.73 per hour.
After 22:00: € 22.47 per hour.
Saturday: up to € 26.22 per hour.
Sunday: € 29.96 per hour (double salary!).
*Saturday allowance applies for 18+ hours of work per week.
