Order picker, full-time, evening shift

Become a order picker at Bidfood in Poeldijk! In the evening shift (16:00 – 00:00/01:00), you'll work full-time in a friendly team. Using voice picking, you'll collect orders across different temperatures (ranging from 18 degrees to -24 degrees). It's physically challenging work, but in return, you get € 24.12 per hour incl. shift allowances.

who are you
To keep the warehouse running, it is important that you, as an order picker, meet the following requirements:

• You speak Dutch or English
• You have your own transport
• You are willing to work in Poeldijk
• You are available from Sunday to Friday
• You are willing to work from 16:00 to 01:00
• You are physically capable of lifting boxes weighing up to 25 kg if necessary
• You are available immediately

what will you do
You start your workday in a brand-new, modern warehouse. After changing and clocking in, you step straight onto the work floor with energy as an order picker. Equipped with an EPT and a smart voice picking system, you effortlessly collect the right orders. In doing so, you easily switch between different zones: from the dry dock (18 degrees) and the cooling (4 degrees) to the real cold in the freezer (-24 degrees). In between, you fully recharge during a break in the spacious, neat canteen. Your shift usually ends around 01:00. Is it extra busy or do the operations run slightly over time? No problem, those extra minutes will, of course, just be neatly paid out to you!

• You collect the right products using a modern voice-picking system (voice-controlled)
• You move quickly and safely through the warehouse on an EPT
• A physically challenging job that makes your gym membership completely unnecessary
• Working in the cold store: You keep a cool head and ensure that fresh products stay at the right temperature
• Braving the freezer: You don't shrink away from real cold and work (dressed in a warm thermal outfit, of course) inside the freezer zone

where will you work
Bidfood is a leading wholesaler in the foodservice industry. The company supplies fresh products, among other things. Currently, Bidfood has 16 branches spread across the Netherlands and a team of 1,700 employees. They serve no fewer than 25,000 diverse customers in the Netherlands.

• The hourly rate is based on a gross wage of €15.20 per hour, excluding surcharges. This applies if you are 21 or older; youth rates apply if you are under 21
• Standard surcharges: 00:00 – 04:00: 50% extra; 04:00 – 06:00: 25%; 19:00 – 22:00: 25%; and 22:00 – 00:00: 50%. Saturdays: between 50% and 100%; Sundays (00:00 – 22:00): 100% extra
• Cold-work surcharges: Between 0 and 4 degrees Celsius: €0.58 gross per hour worked. Between 0 and -24 degrees Celsius: €1.32 gross per hour worked
