Over de functie Dekker beheert al het eigen materieel met een eigen technische dienst. Denk aan drijvende zandfabrieken, zandzuigers, sleepboten, pontons en zware winwerktuigen, in Nederland en daarbuiten. In de werkplaats in IJzendoorn bouw je samen met collega's de constructies die daarvoor nodig zijn. Daarna ga je mee naar locatie om ze te plaatsen, aan te sluiten en draaiend te houden.Die afwisseling maakt de functie. Het ene moment sta je nauwkeurig te lassen aan een nieuwe constructie, het andere moment help je een werktuig door een smal sluisje of onder een brug door naar de volgende locatie. Zie je een manier om een machine stiller, zuiniger of simpeler te maken? Dan horen we dat graag. Wij investeren continu in duurzamere techniek en jouw praktijkervaring telt daarin mee. Wat je doet: Lassen, boren, zagen, snijden en monteren van verschillende onderdelen; Onderhoud en reparaties uitvoeren op onze schepen, zandzuigers en winwerktuigen; Afwisseling tussen werk in de werkplaats en uitdagende klussen op locatie, zoals het verplaatsen van werktuigen door nauwe sluisjes en onder bruggen; Sleutelwerk aan onze machines en werktuigen; Verbeteringen aanbrengen aan onze apparatuur voor duurzamere en stillere werking. As a Construction Fitter, you will work on a variety of metal structures within a technical production environment. You will receive your own work orders and make sure each job is completed accurately and according to schedule. Depending on your experience, you can work independently or receive guidance to further develop your skills. The workshop handles a variety of projects where craftsmanship, quality and teamwork are important. In your role as a Production Mechanic at HQ Pack, you transform technical drawings into complete industrial packaging. You are given plenty of space to work independently on a variety of assignments:

• Independently assemble components and custom-cut materials using sawing machines and hand tools.
• Carefully study complex technical drawings and continuously verify that all dimensions are exact.
• Handle floor equipment responsibly and strictly observe safety guidelines and dress codes (PPE).
